Read review on pairing. Manual doesnt tell you right how to pair. Hold both both buttons down then double press receiver button while holding tx button.

Wiring went bad. Mint
Breaks after one year of ownership. My friend bought one too, his broke 4 months after purchase. Wiring went bad. Mint, the selector switch fell off and I never touched it. Cheap and not worth it

These are ok. Good alternative to expensive units.
These are ok. There is a millisecond delay. Tone suffers a little bit. I'm using two (acoustic and electric guitars) for live performance. Had a gig in center city Phila and experienced some choppiness in the signal. Other areas ok so far. Better than the Joyo bluetooth systems because you can change batteries instead of having to charge them. Also, the Joyos seem to sleep after a period of no use.

Cheap, but cheaply built and cheap tone
It works but I would definitely spend more and get the cheap Line6 unit. This Alesis unit can be difficult to get the receiver and the transmitter paired together correctly.I would pass on this if I had it to do over. It is not a good sounding unit like the Line6 (which is now under $200).I'm no Line6 fanboi, but we've used two of their 2.4Ghz wireless for three years and have zero complaints about the sound quality (which is THE most important feature of any wireless).Good luck and good music to all.

excellent !!!!!!!!!!

Works as advertised; delivers excellent audio; still requires connecting cables though.
I like the fact that it is a wireless connection between guitar and mixer. It works very well. The only improvement I would like is to have the transmitter plug directly into the guitar (at a right angle or adjustably), and the receiver plug directly into the mixer (in other words, eliminate all cables; make it truly wireless).

High quality bargain
I bought this system to replace a Donner set that went wrong within a week and I am delighted with it.There is a low background noise from the system which is not intrusive and is easily removed with a noise gate on a very low setting. Rechargeable batteries last about 5-6 hours which is more than enough for a gig, but do be warned to make sure they are fully charged when you start as the noise the unit emits when the batteries fail is as loud as it is unpleasant. There is no appreciable loss of volume compared to using a lead (the Donner was seriously deficiant in this respect). There are no obvious latency problems and I have had no hint of drop out in a number of rehearsals and daily home practice. All in all: a pretty good performance. The one thing that might be a deal breaker is how the unit colours the sound. There is a noticeable compression on the signal. I play a Strat and the attack is subtly but clearly enhanced. This is actually perfect for me: I play in a Soul/Funk band and it really gives my sound a zing. Frankly I love it and I genuinely haven't found a dedicated compression pedal that I like as much. Obviously those who don't want a compressed sound (or who want it later on the signal chain) may not be as enthusiastic as me but as a low cost cordless solution I doubt you'll find much better.
