Fire Basket Vancouver 56043 & EasyLogs

I purchased this item to use as an incinerator. After looking at the variety on offer and the review comments I decided on this one.It arrived as promised, but when I built it last night I was torn in terms of their being positive and negative about it:- The actual basket comes in three sections and appears relatively well constructed.- The legs, support ring, basket base and stand/base come as independant sections and also appear relatively well made.However:- The instructions (as with a lot of these cheap imports) are poor - even the photocopying itself is poor. I actually found a better PDF version on the internet, so why not include that ???- The most worrying thing is that the legs simply don't create a stable base with the way they are constructed (one bolt into the leg). No matter how much you tighten the bolts the basket has the ability to twist - I simply wouldn't trust it with any load and once heated.I contemplated returning the item, but the simple drilling and and installation of another bolt into each leg rectified the problem.So to sum up the product appears okay in terms of construction materials, BUT it is let down by poor instructions and design. I did rectify both issues, but for the price should I have had to ???? I wish these companies would spend a few pence (literally) more and provide a better product.
