PROtastic3.5mm Microphone Cable & Clip Mic for GoPro Hero 3 & Hero 3+ Plus & Hero 4 & Drift Ghost X Cameras

The original lead on my Drift x camera failed very early. After issues with the replacement, I finally found this one and I'm delighted.It's far better than the original as the mini usb connection seems much more robust. The microphone lead is of a very good length yet fits unobtrusively underneath the crash helmet's lining.Having tried it yesterday, I can say that there is near zero wind noise and speech is picked up loud and clear.The motor bike engine noise does sound a bit disappointing, but this might be normal for this type of set up. I guess if it was to pick up a better engine sound, it would pick up more wind noise. Swings and roundabouts I suppose.The price is excellent for what you get.

Can't say too many good things about this mic, other than works perfectly with my Ghost X, excellent quality sound pic up, fitted to my Bell MX helmet, I do have a boom mic for my Bluetooth intercom I just wrapped the lead around that and a very small piece of gaffer tape. Don't delay I'm ordering another for my modular helmet setup it's that good.

Orders this to use on my ghost drift x helmet camera . Fitted it to the camera and crash helmet and secured it to the mic boom for my senna. Within a few minutes of riding the end of the mic came off leaving just the wires . Build quality is rubbish , better off ordering something else .

Good product but very cheap Appearing. First press of the clip and the spring popped out. Had to repair it and still quite flimsy. I use it for my helmet camera and the mic doesn’t quite have a mounting surface cosmita round and sticks up in mid air. Would be great if flat

The Protastic mini USB 90 degre to 3.5mm audio jack converter lead worked on my Drift Gost X action camera for the external audio. This was not advertised as compatible, but works well. I received excellent service from Chris at Protastic / Lizard king cameras. The delivery was also very quick for standard delivery with it arriving almost next day! 👍

Prompt delivery. Fits great to Drift Ghost X. Works great sometimes. When working sound is good. Unfortunately the one i was sent the 3.5mm jack on the adapter does not always work when mic plugged in. Wiggle it a bit and it works... for a bit then stops again. Pity as so much better design than the one that comes with the drift, unfortunately had to revert to original adapter to get sound consistently.

Really much better than the one supplied by DRIFT which is to long in the connector, the PROtastic one is much neater and allows you to place your helmet on the floor without snapping the damned camera off your helmet! It says it's for GO-PRO but fit's the DRIFT Ghost X camera really well.
