The drinking bottle from Nalgene with sophisticated closure technology. With one-hand pressure lock for quick and easy drinking during your outdoor activities. The lid can also be closed 100% watertight using a metal bracket. By unscrewing the entire lid, the bottle can be filled quickly and cleaned perfectly. Made of Tritan (TM) copolyester, the lid is made of polypropylene and is dishwasher safe. This bottle is not too big to keep the weight filled in the portable frame and to make it easy to handle even for small hands.

Extremely sturdy
Excellent and sturdy bottle. I have a few of these and they all work perfectly. They have not been broken or leaked and gave been used by my 7 year old don since he was 5 without issue. They can take the knocks they’ll get when in a boy’s school bag. I works only advise that you open the lid section to dry daily as I forgot and left one closed for ages and found a bit of black mould on the inside silicone section of the lid that covers the opening. This would happen to anything left closed with moisture but it was so hard to remove because of the nature of the silicone/rubber type of material. It’s a great bottle and will last for years.

Great bottle but too difficult to close....
This is a great little child's bottle with a good size spout and is easy to clean just what I wanted....the only BUT is that my daughter (just turned 4) finds it too tricky to close you have to press down quite hard for it to "click" shut... unfortunately rather than shutting it with her two hands she places it on the table and presses down hard on top to shut it but because of the force required the bottle inevitably skids to the side and spills everywhere before she manages to shut it.....because of this she has taken a preference to my own water bottle by super sparrow which is much easier to close and lock than this one albeit a bigger size....so this bottle is now derelict unless I decide to use it as she has taken mine!

IT SPILLS WHEN OPEN
Yes this is leak proof, and our eldest LOVES hers. It is a nice tight seal and, after some practice, our three year old can open it on her own. HOWEVER: it the pouring lid is open, the contents pours out. So if dropped or knocked over its GAMEOVER for the drink. This may seem obvious, a drinks container that when open spills when knocked over, but its for "Outdoors", outdoors doesn't always have a perfectly flat surface or is safely away from being knocked over.Other than that, its built well, seems to survive the dishwasher well and hasn't yet become mould riddled.

More hygienic than a straw bottle but not so spill proof.
It's a smart bottle with a great seal, but just that little bit too tricky for my 4 year old as the metal clasp to hold it shut is a bit fiddly and stiff. It's not as spill proof as a a straw bottle, with a wide round opening, so unless you are confident that they can open and close it well you won't want to leave them to their own devices in the back of the car whilst you drive like you would with a straw one perhaps. But this bottle is much more hygienic than a straw one in my opinion as so much easier to clean and that's why I bought it.

Not suitable for 3yr old IMO
Bought these for my twins who turned 3 last month, it's difficult for them to push them closed let alone get the stiff metal clip on n off. They'll probably be fine for them next yr or the year after. Purchased the Ion bottle for myself which they have no bother with opening n closing so I'm just gonna see if they come in a smaller size for my dolls.

Lovely bottle
These are my favourite things ever. All kids should have one of these. Have owned many nalgene bottles, and they NEVER seem to leak, and of course are bpa free.

Not for younger kids
Great bottle, really sturdy as expected fro. Nalgene. Only small gripe is for smaller kids, the opening mechanism is a bit fiddly and as it’s not leakproof (as in if too is not out on properly liquid will escape) can cause the odd mess!
