Works perfect just follow these steps to not lose immobilizer.
Cant believe it arrived same day. And also it worked perfectly. Here’s some install tips for anyone else. 1.use a chisel and hammer to remove the old bolts off the steering column. You can also drill them but a chisel works well. 2. Do not disconnect the battery when installing the new switch. It can sometimes make you lose your immobilizer programming. 3.keep your old immobilizer just change the ignition switch, cylinder, and assembly. 4. Only remove the small black plug with two wires from your original assembly and the big black plug from the back of the ignition switch. This will make sure you don’t lose your immobilizer programming. 5. You will need to carry around two keys now. One for the door and one for the ignition. 6. Take out the guts from your old key and put it in the new one. Even if it’s a 3 button and the new one is 2 button it will still work you’ll just lose the panic button. You need to do this step because the immobilizer chip is inside the motherboard in the key. If you follow these steps you can do this all at home with no programming steps at all. No locksmith required. Also if you want to only have one key instead of two, then you’re better off going to a locksmith. The old cylinder will not fit in the new assembly. I tried it. It has slightly different tolerances and won’t work. The only way to use your old key would be to take all the tumblers out of the new cylinder and replace them with your old tumblers in the correct order and without breaking them. This is not worth it and will just cause more problems putting in old tumblers in a new cylinder.
