Harry Potter Marauder's Map Ceramic Mug By Miracle Mugs(TM) (Wizard)

More specifically, the HP 12yo thinks this is fantastic. The print quality that is revealed when hot liquids are in the cup is very good and the design is completely masked when cold, so it made for an exciting and effect reveal the first time it was used.

Bought this mug for me. Out of the packaging it had a few light scratches on the bottom but other than that, it was fine. The black on the mug did do well to cover up the design from afar but it if you looked closely you could make out the design. Once the mug was heated, the image of the Maurader's map appeared. The lines weren't crisp but I guess the fuzziness of the image did make it look like a worn map which was a nice effect. It was also a great talking point in the office, definitely turned a few heads of fellow Potter fans. This would also make a great gift.

I bought this product as a late christmas gift. One for me, one for my grandmother. Both of us are huge Harry Potter fans. The mug straighy from the package is decent. A few scratches to the paint on the bottom make me think it's been used before. On the second mug I bought, you can actually see the map through the black. Havent used the secons mug as it is a gift, but from what I can see through the black paint(which is all of it) the image quality is the same as the other mug. The colours are hoy and vibrant, some patches are entirely red. The quality is blurry on both. The images posted in for the sale itself is of a different mug than the product itself, and angled so that you can't see the thick, half inch blocks of white around the handle. One upside is, due to how thin the mug iyself is, all of the black paint becomes translucent, unlike the official version I own that retains thick black rims around the top and bottom. At least there was bubblewrap in the box.

Brilliant. Lovely quality, looks like a black mug, no hint of the map. When it heats up and changes, the image is really good quality and detailed. I'm very impressed
