Kenwood TTM031 TTM021 KMIX Two Slice Toaster, 900 W, Red, Stainless Steel,

This would have been 5 stars given great delivery service from seller.The product box whilst well protected by outer cardboard box and packing, nevertheless looked like it had been previously opened. Once I had unwrapped the toaster I soon noticed that both the rubberised plastic heat control knob and the lever above were coated in some incredibly sticky material, so much so that the sticky stuff transferred to my fingers when touched. Ten minutes later and after using copious use of a liquid “sticky stuff” remover I had got rid of the adhesive layer and the knows in their original intended condition.This minor but initially very annoying hiccup overcome I can report that the toaster performs admirably giving nicely browned toast evenly browned both sides. Would be interested in hearing from the seller or Kenwood where this adhesive transfer originated from.

Disappointing. I own a kenwood chef which is great build, so I bought the toaster from Kenwood thinking it would be as great,Opening the package, the button and the lever are made of rubber, but that rubber is sticky, and it is not because some glue went on it, it is a problem with the quality of the rubber. apart from this, the toaster works fine.

Nice design to look at but not a great toaster. We have to keep an eye on it so one side doesn't burn, and the dial setting doesn't seem to make much difference either. Also this is the second one, as the first was worse so returned it. I asked for a refund but co-op sent another instead, so shalln't buy from them again or another kenwood toaster.

Great design - like art in my kitchen and takes a small space.Although it takes a while to toast, a cook told me that the best toast should take longer - something to do with keeping the inside moist and the outside crispy which is why toast made on an aga.

I have this toaster for 10 months now and I am very happy with it. The toaster works nice, it doesn't take a lot of space but still fits normal slices of bread. The toast rack has been more handy than I originally expected.Only negative is that crumbs still find a way to get under the toaster, I wish one day they will invent a toaster that doesn't make a mess on my kitchen counter,

Nice toaster - even browning - pity some buyers had issues with timer but for me so far so good. Hate these massive toasters that take up half the kitchen. Can not understand why the newer version is only a 4 slicer - my wife would say it must have been a man's idea :-)

The timer function stopped working in the first week of use, meaning toast does not pop up and continues to cook until either a. you manually stop it, or b. you return to the kitchen in a blaze of flames... Contacted Kenwood customer services who advised they would look into the problem within 5 working days. It has now been 2 weeks, utterly unacceptable.

We only required a 2 slice toaster and this one fitted the bill.So OK it just makes toast, the nice thing about it is; if you haven't set the timer quite to the right setting, and you suspect that your toast may end up burnt, there is the option of lifting the toast up to view it without the need to cancel the toasting cycle.
