I have seen in other bad reviews that these candles do not burn well and that the scent wasn’t very strong, I have not found this with these candles. I have bought shearer candles many times and never dissatisfied with the quality. Personally I prefer that the candle has a rustic finish rather than a pure black pillar when the sleeve is removed for burning. I have been burning this candle a few times a week over the last month and a half for around an hour at a time and has burned beautifully as in the picture and the scent has not diminished. I find the quality as good as more expensive candles and the scent is a floral woody scent perfect for winter….I would highly recommend these candles!!

Great quality candle, the scent is really strong and fills out an entire room, will last a long time and it's a sexy deep musky smell that I am completely obsessed with.

Shearers are my favourite candlemakers.... made in Glasgow in their factory... Amber Noir is a beautiful fragrance, tuberose, violets and amber... very subtle. The quality and value for money is second to none...

Nice big candles, just wanted a black candle, the scent doesn’t last too long, but they do the job decoratively.

I expect more from this brand, candle is well presented and sturdy but just no smell!

Lovely scent and lasts a long time. We can light it every evening and I can't remember when we bought it, but it has been a long time.

I adore this candle. It helps makes quarantine tolerable.
