the CUROfit meter I ordered and was received - I used it to get triglyceride and cholesterol levels readings from my blood samples - the meter I received never worked - the numbers it gave I know where not correct because I used it the morning of the same day I went in to my doctor's clinic to have blood drawn for many tests and analysis (as ordered by my doctor) and of course amoung those were triglyceride and cholesterol numbers - the values from the doctor's clinic we can depend upon because - well they keep their equipment properly calibated and checked for accuracy - the cholesterol numbers from the CUROfit meter did not match those from the doctor's clinic - I could only get a 'Lo' reading from the CUROfit meter on the triglycerides (I tried several times, always only gave this error indication) - of course the doctor's clinic had a proper triglycerides number - so after all that I processed a return through Amazon and my request for a return and refund was approved by CUROfit's manufacturer/distributor-on-Amazon - I printed out the return label/document and properly and correctly returned the CUROfit along with everything is came with just as instructed - I have waited a little more than a month now and still no refund has been returned to me - I'm not a person who is prone to complaining - however is this case I think and feel it is really my duty to others who might have an interest in ordering the CUROfit as my expectation is if you do order the CUROfit you are taking a chance #1 that it would actually work, and #2 that you would be able to obtain any refund

I have two testers, one just does overall cholesterol, and I was curious what my triglycerides were, so I spent the money for this one. The numbers on this one and the other one are never closer than 20 mg from each other. Based on initial lab results, this unit is the one I question the most. I recognize these units are fully calibrated, but you would hope they were closer to real numbers than what I've been seeing.

I purchased this about a year ago. At first it was difficult to use, you need to read instructions, go on YouTube, etc... Once you do it a couple of times, learn by mistake, it was just as the directions explain I had to purchase some extra strips, well worth it. When you use the lancet make sure you get ample blood, that was my issue at first. The readings were exactly as the lab work I had done that day. This gave me time to lower my cholesterol through diet and exercise and check to make sure it was at a healthy level before I had to get my official blood work done. Perfect! I hope this helps.

Three things can be done with this monitor.Glucose count, Cholesterol count and triglyceride count. My. Cholesterol was too low to measure as well as the triglycerides. My hospital lab work confirmed this as well with cholesterol in low 30’s and triglyceride count super low as well. It did measure the glucose correctly, but for $140 it was not worth the purchase for that.

I just received this today. And it just keeps giving me error messages and as a result you end up wasting the strips which aren't cheap. I will try again tomorrow and if I keep getting error messages I will just return it.

The reader works ok, it's very challenging to get enough blood for the cholesterol readings. It's super challenging to learn how to do this, watch the video before trying!They do have an app for tracking but it's only for 2 other versions of the product, not this specific one. If the app covered this one as well, I would have given it 5 stars.

This is a great kit. It has a you tube video that shows you how to use it. After you watch it, it's a breeze to use
