Dinogami: 25 of your favourite dinosaurs to fold in an instant Paperback – 12 July 2012

This book was bought for a 10 year old who has done origami club at school for a couple of years. I have dabbled in origami myself. This book is split into different types of dinosaurs, fun,big,sky and marine. There is a double page spread given to basic techniques, which is clear and easy enough to understand. The 50 sheets of paper are very nice, some square some oblong according to the design of dino and each paper is dino specific as they have faces and teeth and patterns on specific to the folding and making of the specified dino. Once you have used up your dino paper you can use regular paper and draw on your own designs.Each dino has a little 'about' blurb then step by step photos with instructions each dino is rated by difficulty 1/3 being least difficult 3/3 being hardest, althought they are not arranged by lowest to highest in order but the chapter headings above. I have had to help my daughter with the precision of the folds and in following some of the instructions and even then it was a bit tricky to follow myself hence only four stars, its a really great book, well designed and laid out but sometimes hard to follow, but the end results are pretty cool, although there are a lot of simplistic ones like the footprint that aren't that amazing.

This book looks great, nice design but some of the steps are hard/impossible to follow and if I was a child I would have a tantrum and never try origami again. Editorially incorrect and visually confusing.

This is absolutely lovely! I bought it for a friend of mine who is a teacher to entertain her 6 year old! He plays with some of them already and ask for more to be made so he can have play Jurassic park!

Impressed with the quality and price of this book. I bought it as a present for a 6 year old, and although I'm sure his parents will have to give him some help I know he'll really enjoy the craft aspect as well as the dinosaur theme.

Fantastic - I bought 3 dinosaur oragami books and this was by far the best, it also was not the most expensive.I thought the printed coloured paper with dinosaur eyes and patterns was a nice touch.Making complex animals like dinosaurs out of folded paper is difficult by nature - but there are a few lower level projects your younger origami enthusiasts.Defiantly recommend this one.

My grandson loves this book. The papers make the dinosaurs look fun. He enjoys coming and making a few at a time. Delighted that I bought it. Prompt delivery.
