Until the GTX 1080 ti comes out, this is the best card on the market below £1000 and many cards that cost more than a £1000 are not as good as this one. Watch you don't get fobbed off with the AMP Edition, was is not better than any other GTX 1080.This is a huge card at about 330mm long. It occupies 2 and a half slots.Fitting is straightforward, except that card is so wide (thick), it is fiddly to get access the catch on the end of the PCI x 16 slot. It is heavy so secure the screws in the rear panel mounts tightly. I may fit a bracket to support the end because of the card dropping, which can't be good for the x 16 PCI slot.Performance is amazing. Forget your Nintendos, Wiis, PS etc, this produces better graphics, and finding a game that can fully utilise the immense power in this card is the issue. Games that were crashing due to lack of GP processing memory are working perfectly.I don't tend to OC GPUs. This card comes with OC software that is easy to use, but what is the point? This card is legendary. Stress testing through Heaven, on the max settings returned an average FPS of >118. Why overclock with that sort of score?Warranty looks good. Register on the Zotac site and you get an additional few years to the warranty provided by Amazon.It is quiet for day to day computing with the fans only kicking in when needed.Just for comparison, I upgraded from the Gigabyte Windforce OC GTX 780 ti (still a brilliant card). The Zotac seems to me to be at least three times as fast. Brilliant, brilliant GPU.

Put simply at the time of writing it's the fastest gaming video card money can buy. It's extremely quiet with it's 3 huge fans, under full load it's still very hard to hear (my CPU fan is far louder). High end games have never looked so good. It can run virtually any game at 4k with all settings at ultra while maintaining 60 fps. Overclocking was easy, I used MSI afterburner instead of Firestorm. I don't have a lot of experience with overclocking but I was able to boost the clock to 2139 mhz before it started crashing in games (3DMark Time Spy reult: [...]). But the GPU boost 3.0 had me running at a consistent 2050 mhz while in game so I'm not sure overclocking is even necessary.This thing is a monster - you better have plenty of room in your case for this thing. If you don't have the proper size case to house this thing good luck, make sure you have a lot of clearance below, to the right, to the left, and behind whatever pci slot you are going to use. I have a side windowed panel on my case and when you look inside all you see is this massive video card. Its not ugly by any means but it is huge. I would recommend this card to anyone that wants the latest in technology. Fast, cool, easy overclock, and runs all games smooth like butter.

The card is a beast - chews any game thrown at it at full details without slowdowns. The cooler on it is huge, which keeps the card very cool under any kind of load, but stays quiet throughout. Make sure it will fit in your case.The only letdown is the semi-passive fan stopping feature, which has not been implemented correctly. The fans themselves cannot run under 30% PWM - so when the card heats up to 60 degrees, instead of gently starting the fans they get ramped up to something stupid like 50% (because the card tries to start them at low RPM, but it cannot), which then cools the card back below the 60 degree threshold and the fans stop. Immediately after, the fans ramp up again, just to stop a few seconds later - and so on.This is solvable by manually overriding the lower RPM threshold to 30%, meaning that the fans never stop so there is no ramp up issue (which gives roughly 900 RPM in idle, which is not loud, but inaudible in an otherwise quiet PC). Nevertheless, this should not be a problem in an (almost) top-of-the range model.

Fantastic card, frame rates are incredible. My PC is about two years old and came with just a GTX745 card fitted as standard, which worked pretty well. I could get some decent frame rates on even games like Doom or Battlefield 3 if I turned the detail down a few notches running on a 19" monitor. I have the i7-6770 CPU and 16GB RAM.When my partner bought me a 32" 4K (3840x2160) monitor my old card ran out of steam, no way anything was going to run at even half decent frame rates in 4k So I had to play in windowed mode where the game will run at all!I bit the bullet and bought the Zotac 1080 card along with an EVGA 550w PSU as my old one OEM was just 300w - and OMG what a difference. the performance increase was even higher than I had expected.Older games like Call of Duty 4? no probs at 3840x2160, with all settings to max - I can still exceed 250fps. (And that was with Arma II running at 60fps in 4k in the background!) AlthoughI admit I have no really new games to try it out with, I'm blown away by the performance I've seen so far. For example, Doom runs in 4k with every setting at maximum at 60fps, as does Battlefield 3, both run smooth as silk even when the screen gets very busy during combat.The card also runs very quietly, rarely do I hear any fan noise at all, even with 4k gaming.Highly recommend this card to anyone thinking of an upgrade! Do it - you won't be disappointed...
