Works well with my Dell XPS 15, but there are a couple of frustrating points. 1) the USB-C lead is too short 2) with the lid shut the XPS provides no visible indicator to show if it's on. The dock allows you to turn the laptop on but it can get confused with the monitor and you end up with the laptop on, and no screen. It can be solved by turning the monitor off then on again. However, when you don't know if the laptop is on it makes things more confusing. But overall everything else works well...just give us a longer lead.

I was a bit wary of this because I had read about a lot of driver issues relating to this newest dock. However, it worked perfectly out of the box.Using it with a Dell XPS15 9550 - which was already up to date update wise - so that probably helped.At the moment I have the following connected via the dock- Samsung 2560x1440 monitor via HDMI (and connection to USB 3.0 hub in monitor)- WD Ultra 2TB USB 3 drive (USB 3.0)- Gigabit Ethernet- MS Sculpt keyboard and mouse (USB 2.0)- Bose Companion speakers (Rear speaker out socket)Like the fact I now only have one connection to the laptop - everything else including power supply is plugged into the dock.Also, power switch on dock puts laptop to sleep - so can keep it closedAnd can't ignore PCBuyIt's great price

Everything just worked on Ubuntu thank goodness in spite of Dell's unwillingness to support Linux properly. Now running full QHD (though only at 30fps) over HDMI from XPS 9350 over usb-c. Only one star dropped due some machine crashes on wakeup when connected/disconnected while suspended, but nothing I can't workaround.

Perfect docking station for my Laptop Dell Latitude 7490! It just should come with 2 HDMI for my 2 monitors. But an adaptor Display Port to HDMI solved the problem.

I keep losing my connection when on this dock. Video calls get dropped and my frame stays frozen, the conn never comes back until I get off the dock and reconnect on laptop

Compact, does the job and no complaints

Item works perfectly, cheaper than buying direct from Dell.
