W7 COVER UP ROOT CAMOUFLAGE KIT 3.5g - MEDIUM BROWN

I have lived with greys since I was 15 n need root treatment every 3 weeks able to afford every 4 so for a whole week I'm as inventive as can be with back coming n pony tails or headbands n other disguising stylesMiserable n introvert for a hat whole week usually - well with an interview n a pub quiz a few days before my roots get done - I was sulking to be brief- so I tracked this down on Amazon after a friend endorsed it -Hugely sceptical because it looked like eye shadow, it arrived at work so I trotted to the ladies - ooh there's big mirror ooh nice colour, big brush - swipe brush scrub onto glaringly obvious roots -( no I didn't even read the instructions) ohhhhhh ?! Swipe some more n paint my side greys - oops smudged on skin, lick finger , wipe head gone- examine closely in mirror... nooooo way! Wow!!!Look - go for it honestly you will not believe how superbly wonderful this product does it's job ! No it's not as good as a colour treatment but in less than ten minutes if you've a lot of grey like me - you WILL change how you lookI got light brown - perfect for a dark auburn, choc brown hueAnd I'm even showing you the pictures - see for your self and that's a 5 second application! Never bought something for £4 that I'd of paid £20 for - and I've bought 2 more I'll never be without it ladies

I was a little worried that maybe the colour wouldn't be right for my hair, but actually it's perfect. It is super easy to use and is very like a eyeshadow but for your hair! It is a pressed powder basically with two brush ends - a smaller and a larger one. You do need quite a bit of product to cover all those pesty little grey hairs but you just work it in with the smaller brush and then you can even it out with the larger one. It just lasts until your next hair wash, which for me is basically just one day as I wash my hair daily. But I'm super happy with this product as this is the first time I've attempted to cover up my little greys, and was quite scared! It also doesn't affect my scalp/give me a rash or anything. This is super easy and it does a great job. Highly recommend!

It works! I might purchase the darker one as the light brown is quite pale when on hair and takes alot of powder to get the coverage I want. Alot of residue in the pallet is created so be careful where you use it... Place a tissue under the pallet.Impressive for such a well priced item, although it does not work miracles, but it certainly makes a difference and helps towards delaying the dying process.

Having been going grey (well more white actually) around the hair line of my forehead, visits to the salon are a frequent occurrence. For those of you in the know, my regular colour bath was recently changed in strength from 1:2 to 1:1 - so quite stubborn to cover. My hair seems to have a reasonable growth rate, I am due to go to the salon this week and there is nearly an inch of roots showing in places, after 4 weeks. On loading the stubby end of the applicator brush up with product and dabbing it on to my pulled back fringe etc grey/White is cover and covered well. Any excess is swept away with the opposite end of the brush. So it is easy to apply (maybe slightly less so on the top you head). Doesn't seem to come off unless shampooed and is reasonably priced.It also looks pretty natural. I use the medium brown.

I have used Colour Wow for some time and thought I would try this much cheaper alternative. There is more product but you do have to use more for the same effect. There aren't as many colour options but it does do the job well enough although it does make my scalp itch a little to begin with. If you can get a good colour match then it will save you money as you don't need to get your roots done so often. I have medium brown hair and the medium matches well and covers the grey. I haven't had the opportunity to test it in the rain yet to see if it runs which Colour Wow promises not to! I think this is a good option to take on holiday if you swim and wash your hair everyday.

I rarely write reviews but wanted to say how amazing this product is. I have a lot of grey hair and get horrible roots. I have previously used and been happy with the sort of root cover up that is like a wax crayon but I never liked how heavy and sticky it was. I bought this on a bit of a whim but am so pleased I did. It covers my roots so well and very easily. It looks very natural and I can't see it at all. I have mid brown hair with blond highlights and have to have a full head colour every 5 weeks. My roots show through after just 2 weeks but with this I am certain I'll be able to keep up with my 5 week routine despite my hair getting even greyer!! I can't recommend this enough and am really pleased I found this product.

I love this product.After reading previous reviews decided to try for myself.I usually use colour mousse in between having hair coloured at salon.I like this product far more.Reasons being - 1. Very easy to apply with brush applicator.2. Stays on until next wash.3. Blends in really well with existing colour.4. Very good price, only small amount needed so should be long lasting.5. Doesn't run like mousse which can tend to be watery.6. No irritation to scalp ( sometimes get itchy scalp with mousse)7. Saves money not needing to have roots done at salon as much.I chose medium brown and it blends in really well to my dark brown hair.Will definitely be repurchasing in the future and would highly recommend to others.

I have medium brown hair and ordered the light brown. I used medium brown before but felt it was too dark for my hair as I have quite fine hair. Easy to apply stay's in place till wash out. Just as good as more expensive. Gave this a 4 star because if you touch or scratch your hair it goes on to fingers.
