Listening to them now as I write this review!
Unfortunately the first pair I received had a slight fault, but full credit to RHA. I received a replacement set within 24 hours of sending an email to RHA. Fantastic Customer service indeed!Needless to say, as pretty much every other reviewer here has pointed out, these earphones are rather special. I really can't fault them and considering that I'm using a pretty high quality hifi system (ATC SCM11 speakers give a clue) this is high praise indeed from yours truly. Paired with another great product the FiiO E06 together they make beautiful noises. If like me you are using these earphones with your smartphone, and aren't totally delighted, check out the E06, it really bring sound out of your phone like you'd not believe for a mere £20. Combined with the E06 you have a sound that would comfortably compare favourably to anything up to triple the cost of the MA600's.Also worth noting is that you'll need to give them a few days to loosen up. They get better with time for sure; more detailed and space around instruments and vocals, treble is crisp and the bass is exceptional; punchy, deep and full without being overblown. Not only do they sound good, they also look good too, The cable is silent and tangle free and there's a slider clip to tighten under your chin to keep them in place. Finally they are comfortable enough to wear for hours on end, and you should definitely get a good fit from the 7 pairs of covers supplied.

Great sound and functionality, let down by persistent durability issues
Considering the limitations of in-ear designs and the accessible price, the MA600i's sound quality is excellent. There's great detail and crispness in the higher frequencies, while the lows are authoritative and satisfying without sounding coloured. Overall the sound is balanced and relatively neutral, without being flat and boring. The microphone and remote work well and both have functioned just fine with my iPhone 6 and various MacBook Pros and iMacs.Build quality is good – they're almost entirely aluminium, no nasty plastic – and they're provided with a nice zip-up carry case with a punched metal card holding various sizes of silicone ear tips. However I do find the cable annoyingly stiff and prone to tangles. I feel a fabric covering or a flat "ribbon" design would be an improvement.A related issue is repeated failure of the joint where the cable enters the in-line remote/microphone. Thanks to RHA's 3 year warranty and excellent customer service, I've twice had this issue resolved with a brand new set of headphones. But, as good as that is, I'd prefer for them not to fail in the first place. While it is a common flaw in this type of design, the MA600i has basically no stress relief on the joint and, consequently, I feel like it fails rather more often and more quickly than it otherwise might.Cable issues aside, for me the bottom line is these sound much better than similarly priced competition from the likes of Sennheiser. With nice extras, solid build and a superb warranty, they're pretty much unbeatable value.

Great sound but terrible design for sports... and then BROKE three months later!
Below is the review I wrote soon after purchase... and then the left earphone stopped working properly, out of the blue, with no visible damage and certainly no extreme use, going on-off as if the cable wasn't connecting properly. Because Amazon are so amazing they responded immediately with offer of refund or replacement, which makes my life a little easier. But it is still a crying shame for these headphones, which I really wanted to like.EARLIER REVIEW:The sound is excellent for this price range, if you can find the right tips. The tips issue is major for all earphones, and I admit none of the provided tips is adequate for me - I only use Comply memory foam, which are expensive and don't last long, but are the only ones to fit my ears properly.Back to these earphones... the design is generally good and the materials are solid, but everything is really heavy, including the earphones themselves, the control bar and the cable, making it really cumbersome using when running or at the gym. This also increases the thudding sound all noise-isolating earphones have to an extent - but here it is monumental. All of this is exacerbated by the ridiculously long cable - why would anyone need such length? (an issue, admittedly, with many recent earphones). And one more thing, unfortunately: considerable noise impediment when used with smaller mp3 devices, such as an iPod mini (which is the biggest thing I would consider carrying when running). In short, use these when sitting down and you'll love them - but buy something else if you need them for exercise.

Design flaws make this one to avoid
I've had these for a few months now, and finally got round to reviewing. It's difficult to express how frustrating and poorly designed this product is.It's a shame because I want to support small audio manufacturers, but the flaws make the item unusable. The headphones simply DO NOT work for anyone with small ear canals. The supplied buds arent small enough nor 'sticky' enough to keep them in your ears. Yes, I have bought other ear buds (Comply) and they're just as rubbish. The headphone controls are too heavy, and in combination with the stiff headphone cable, they CONSTANTLY drop out. The buttons on the remote itself are too recessed to be useful - you end up pausing rather than fast forwarding tracks for example. The sound itself is OK but I get the sense there's too much top end coming through so some tracks sound harsh on the ears.Again, a shame but I'd look elsewhere tbh

High Quality Earbuds for an Affordable Price
The RHA MA600i earbuds score highly for my three most important features of earbuds: sound quality, comfort, and durability.Intended UserConsumers who value mobility, demand high-quality sound, and are fans of bass will find these earbuds to be very enjoyable. More specifically, the intended users are those who value the high-quality sound of over-ear headphones but enjoy the mobility earbuds offer.Sound QualityFor relatively inexpensive earbuds, the MA600i’s have great sound quality across a variety of genres including EDM, hip hop, metal, and rock. The earbuds have prominent bass, rounded mids, and clear trebles. Though prominent, the bass is not overbearing if you enjoy it. I prefer to listen to music quite loud and have found no sorts of distortion of the sound when played loudly. Finally, the noise-cancelling feature is very effective. I almost never hear sounds and noises around me.ComfortSecond to sound quality, comfort is the most important feature of earbuds to me because I listen to music for prolonged periods of time. One of the first things I noticed when I originally got the earbuds was the metal housing and the aluminum drivers as advertised. To my surprise, these earbuds are relatively lightweight and are pretty comfortable. Connecting the 3mm auxiliary jack to the actual earbuds is an oxygen free cord that has never gotten tangles or formed knots in my year of everyday use. My favorite external feature of the earbuds is the 8 pairs of silicone tips sent with the earbuds. This ensures the earbuds provide a proper fit to different ear canal sizes and shapes.DurabilityAs mentioned above in the comfort section, the earbud casing and drivers are made out of metal. The instant I picked them up I noticed how durable and well-built the earbuds felt and seemed. The metal cases have been of particular use to me because I have dropped the earbuds on a variety of surfaces and have had zero issues. Along with durable cases and drivers, the insulated and oxygen-free copper cord is very durable and there is no sign of everyday use.If you enjoy bass and prefer to have the mobility of earbuds but value the sound quality of over-ear headphones, the RHA MA600i’s are for you.

RHA headphones got a new customer here
Actually this is my first time to purchase RHA headphones and to be honest I was really impressed by how wonderful they are. The build quality here is stellar,,the whole headphones are made from aluminum including even the remote,,by the way the remote here is compatible with Apple devices hence the name ma600i the "I" stands for Apple devices so please note that before you buy,,also the tray that holds the ear tips is made from aluminum,,actually this is the first time to see headphones made entirely from aluminum in this price range. The most important thing is the sound quality which has v shaped signature which means that these headphones have a great emphasis towards bass,,actually they make old songs that might have low bass a lot bassier so people who appreciate bass like myself will love these. Forgot to mention that cable is way too durable and tangle resistant and also the included case is hard shell case which really protects the headphones. All in all I'm so happy that I made this purchase and I would be more than happy to recommend these headphones to anyone looking for a bassy,,durable and affordable pair of headphones.
