Cartamundi Ace Patience 2-Deck Playing Cards in Gift Box

Excellent patience-size cards (they aren't supposed to be full-size!), great quality, bought for my mum who plays A LOT of patience, to the point of wearing out cards - she's over the moon with these.

Saw a 4* rating for this seller and made the mistake of not reading reviews. This double pack of cards are miniature - at least half the size of normal playing cards. Dimensions given are for the plastic case NOT the playing cards size but this is not stated nor does the product description mention the miniature size - very disappointed.

These cards are great for playing patience if you only have a small table or place to play. Good quality card and printing. Not much else to say!

It should be clear on the product description that these are half sized playing cards. I wanted full size, I didn't measure the advertised size and actually the measurements are slightly misleading as they seem to refer to the two packs together. I will keep them - they are cheap- but come on seller make it clear that they are not the normal size! I'm now going back on to buy a normal sized pair of packs.

Perfect for what I wanted. These are about third normal size, which isn’t clear from the ad, so I am glad I read the reviews.

Okay so looking back it does give the dimensions in the ad for the entire box so it can be worked out the decks are half size but really could be more clear

If you stumbled across these cards on Amazon, it's only because you were savvy enough to search for "Patience playing cards," as this product doesn't seem to appear in a search for "miniature" playing cards. These are indeed Patience- or Solitaire-sized (known to the uninitiated as "miniature" or "travel" sized), measuring 2 1/2" L x 1 5/8" W (the length is the same as the width of a standard poker-sized playing card). Cards this size have been around for a long time as Patience decks, because they allow one to play Soliitaire games having large layouts without resorting to using the floor as a table. (Even so... they're still too large for a large game like Klondike or Scorpion on a tiny airline food tray. Stick to a "smaller" game on the airplane. Or... I shudder to say it... play Solitaire on your smartphone or tablet.)The good: 1. Two decks with contrasting backs (as Solitaire sets should be), so you can shuffle together for those two-deck Solitaires you like to play, and then re-sort easily when finished. 2.. Indices in all 4 corners, which is always helpful in Solitaires that have odd layouts that can block the indices on two-index cards. 3. A clear, rigid (polystyrene, perhaps?) if somewhat thin case with separate lid, and fingerholes in the bottom of each "well" to allow lifting a deck out by pushing from below. 4. Good, stiff cardstock, with clear printing. Cartamundi is a well-respected European card manufacturer that makes a good product. I haven't used these long enough to reach that "broken-in" feel, so I cannot yet say how long they will stay in that sweet spot of not being brand-new stiff (hard to shuffle with cards this size), but not yet worn out and too flimsy.The bad: The only minor complaint is that they are not a "linen" cardstock and so are a little slippery - not a problem for most card games you play with other people, but in games of Solitaire a little difficult for keeping layouts arranged neatly. The finish is not glossy but slightly matte, but nonetheless they tend to slide around on each other a good bit. But alas, that type of cardstock/finish, at least for Solitaire-sized cards, appears to have gone the way of the dodo bird with the demise of Hoyle Miniature cards from the days when they were actually manufactured in Minneapolis (before the USPCC bought Hoyle Products in 2001 and replaced with smooth-finish miniature decks printed in China, indistinguishable from the USPCC's Bicycle and Tally-Ho branded miniatures, also printed in China).

感想　・ケース蓋は軽く固定される。　蓋が浮き上がらなければ内部仕切りにより、カードが移動せず良い。　・カードの裁断がそろっていて、ファローシャッフルもでき、良い。→写真（とりあえずの感想です。　ほかは写真を見てください。　輸送中ダメージか届いたものにはケースにひび割れがありました。）
