Amazing results.
We used this in a few pots in the garden. Loads of colour. Quite surprised how good it is. So easy to use too.

Beautiful!
I planted these quite late and I've still got a wonderful variety of flowers in my flower beds! There's a great variety of colours and some have a beautiful scent that I can easily smell indoors when the windows are open. Easy to apply, grow and maintain. Really worth the extra money for those who don't have a lot of time to spend gardening but love fresh flowers as much as I do!! I will be using this regularly! Would love to see other varieties too!

Never again
The product arrived on time but that is the only good thing I can say about it. I read the instructions and weeded the ground properly. Sprinkled it over and waited. It took three weeks to start even though I watered every day that it did not rain. The product took three weeks to get started but the weeds grew quicker than that. Once the product has been put on the groung it is not possible to get onto the ground to do any weeding. My front garden looks a right mess. A mix of wild flowers and weeds with the weeds winning. Probably the best I can do it take the whole lot up. After seeing the TV adverts and reading the packaging i expected to have a glorious garden. Never again.

Very Hit and Miss - How can you tell the difference between flower seedlings and weeds?
If you are considering getting this, you be wondering if its any good for inexperienced or lazy gardeners. First thing, you will need to prepare your sowing area very well, otherwise results will be very hit or miss. I bought this to fill in some spaces in my garden, being a little short on time to really do as much gardening as I would like. What was appealing was the idea of a carpet of flower in some bare patches in my garden beds and a couple of large containers.I thought I cleared all the weeds and prepared my seed bed quite well before sprinkling the seeds and coir mix. I also filled a couple of large containers with some compost and sprinkled the Flower Magic seeds on top as well. I watered frequently, when the coir began to turn to a lighter brown, indicating watering was required and waited and waited for the seedlings to germinate. After a couple of weeks, some seedlings started to emerge - fantastic I thought and carried on watering when required. However, the seedlings did seem a little sparse and far between (compared to when you are sowing in a seed tray for transplanting and planting apart later). At four weeks, the garden flower bed where the seeds were sown onto the ground had lots and lots and lots of seedlings - but some of these seedlings looked very much like weeds, but I was not sure which ones were the flower seedlings and which ones were weeds. It however was a different story with the seeds that were grown in the large containers with compost. Even fewer seedlings, but over the weeks, these seedlings were actually growing into recognisable flower plants and there were very few weeds in the containers compared to the flower bed.At six weeks after sowing, the first flowers have started to emerge in all three areas, a few plants with small white flowers, with some promising looking flower looking plants that possibly flower in the coming weeks, but in the flower bed where the Flower Magic was sown directly into the ground are a couple of small patches of flowers and what looks like a while bed of weeds! In the container grown Flower Magic, there were very few weeds.Overall, Flower Magic is a bit hit and miss, you need to prepare your seed bed very carefully. It seems to get better results when growing in containers with 'clean' weed free soil and compost. Definitely very hit and miss results and next year, I will probably buy several packets of flower seeds instead and sow in rows so at least I know which seedlings are likely to be plants and which are likely to be weeds.

Excellent value
Very easy to use, and seems to provide a good spread of healthy plants.I found that i had four long thin beds that measured about 1m2 each, so i found decanting a quarter into an old measuring jug and used that to provide a little more accuracy.Once watered in, I sprinkled on a little more multi-purpose compost to hide the seeds from hungry birds. This method is low effort, rather than no effort, and I also found that I needed to do a bit of thinning out ... Which with care I transplanted into tubs.Good value for the cottage garden look.

it definitely can result in a border full of flowers...but
Shook Miracle Gro all over a new flowerbed at the end of May (when it was still quite cold). Also in pots instead of getting summer bedding. We kept the bed and pots well watered until the seedlings were clearly established. The flowerbed is now (mid July) a riot of colour with new flowers/ colours emerging almost daily - a wonderful treat. but the pots are full of weeds - not a flower in sight - have no idea why that should have happened - same batch of seeds, same growing conditions, same "gardener".... maybe the soil in the pots wasn't as fresh as the (newly dug) soil in the flower bed? this might be some insight for those who have had weeds rather than flowers - ie make sure the soil is good to start with - ?? maybe... all i can say is when it works it is fantastic.

Ordered more for next year. Planted late (end of May) but still had
a magnificent display. Started flowering about 4 weeks in and by 8 weeks my flower patch looked stunning - has continued with a constant display of colourful and varied blooms since. It's approximately 12 weeks after planting and it looks like there are many more blooms to come. There have been a couple of varieties which I've pulled as soon as they've flowered as I don't particularly want to be over run with them next year - the rest I'm going to leave to go to seed and see what happens next year - my husband who's a vegetable man has decided that he wants to convert some of the lawn and graveled area of the garden to this next year - we're going to plant (I say plant - scatter randomly is more the game!!) some in the autumn to see what comes up - a riot of colour in the garden - looks stunning. We prepared the ground well and kept enviromesh over the patch for the first few weeks to prevent any birds nicking the seeds.
