Great BBQ
Only used this a couple of times, but so far so good. After previous BBQ’s I can definitely say this is lots better than the much cheaper but similar products. Seems to have a nice weight to it, sturdy with a decent thickness of metal, not too heavy but not flimsy.Colour has kept nice after a couple of high temperatures, and seems to work as needed. The thermometer is probably its only ‘cheap’ feature, as it seems to vary compared to digital thermometers internally, but being picky. After previous BBQ’s I can definitely say this is lots better than the much cheaper but similar products. I wanted to advance past the £80 ranges, but couldn’t justify the £800’s yet, to me this was an excellent compromise on cost without compromise on quality.

Great BBQ
Bought the BBQ in summer 2016 . Took a while to put together and instructions not great . Once up the BBQ is heavy and sturdy . The top rack doesn't sit great if you close the barrel area to cook so wouldn't advise you to use that unless you have the lid up to cook. I was impressed in how tasty the food was though when cooked . I used the jack Daniels wood chips for smoking and it was brilliant . Still have a lot to learn re cooking and keeping the right temperature . Looking forward to some nice weather in the summer to improve my smoking skills . Overall a great BBQ and I would buy again

Spend the money, it’s worth it!
Wow what a great bbq! Last year we purchased a cheap one to tide us over and this year we wanted one that would really last. It look us about an hour to put it together but the bolts are really good quality and all the parts are separated and labelled for ease. We have so far used it once and couldn’t believe how quickly the charcoals evenly burned and was ready to use. The surface area is massive, perfect for hosting large parties. We love this and couldn’t recommend it any more!

Will it be worth the assembly hassle
The issue is really about the lack of explanation amount about the amount of assembly required. It is substantial and you will need a 2nd person to hold parts in place while you get the screws and bolts into place. The assembly instructions are far from clear and the labelling (or lack of it) is not helpful. I suggest Landmann should have an assembly video on the website, the risk being if you know what's involved in advance you may not buy it. You should be prepared to spend a couple of hours trying to get it assembled correctly. Once assembled it appears like it will be a sturdy product, having gone through the assembly pain I sincerely hope cooking on it well be more fun, Landmann do produce a how to use it video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ek3v-Skq2GE.

Fantastic BBQ and smoker
The item arrived next day, very well packaged and with no damage to the parts. It does take a while to assemble the parts but I managed it alone and only required a few tools. We have used this for a few family BBQs cooking for around 8 people and it’s been fantastic so far. I have used the smoker to make home smoked bacon and I can’t sing it’s praises enough! A little more expensive than the non branded versions but so far I’m very impressed and it’s been worth paying a bit extra.

High price
Arrived damaged large scratch and wooden handle was split offered and took off £50 for the damage but also checked on line and other companies were doing them £100 cheaper bad buy for me over £300 🙈🙈🙈

Pretty good value for money.
Good fun BBQ. It does let a lot of smoke out through the sides, back, temp gauge and chimney so can be hard to regulate the temp if it's windy. I sealed the chimney and temp gauge which fire cement which stopped that but the sides and back require a fair amount more than just cement (I'm using lots of tin foil crimped over the sides which is fine for now - the fire rope and cement I tried didn't take to the metal and fell off). All in all a fairly decent smoker which has been used a lot already for slow cooked lamb legs, ribs & potatoes, and faster cooking burgers in the main chamber right above the offset chamber and also rump steaks on the provided grill in the offset. It is a new taste level, which is why I bought it to use along side my Weber kettle. It is a fairly heavy beast (30kg or so) and moving it in and out the garage is a 2 person job due to its length so I'd strongly recommend buying the cover for it (too much moving it will prob result in the offset chamber breaking or losing its seal) I bought the Landmann cover about a week after the BBQ and it hasn't blown off even in the high winds over the last few days.

Amazing product, quite tough to assemble though!
Instructions aren't the best, but when are they ever with these products. Looks great when assembled however and cooks a mean BBQ. Smoker I haven't used yet due to British "Summertime", but looking forward to using it more next year. Get an extra large cover for it though!
