Good phone for lower end budget -
A good basic phone that replaced my Samsung S7 - it does everything I need - ok the quality is not to the standards of Samsung, but it still carries its weight to perform. My only vice is if your going to buy one add an extra capacity sim as the apps soon bite into your storage. For the price you cannot grumble, it hasnt let me down yet, for less than a £100. Thats a huge saving compared to paying on contracts. Im on Sim only and this phone takes all UK network sims. Again a massive saving. Easy to download and set up my existing apps. Took a couple of days to get use due to the different format, battery life works well for me, even on busy days. However my only frustration is finding a screen protector that actually fits the screen fully to the edges due to the curved 2.5 screen. Best to buy an all round protector like a wallet version. I bought a clear silicon base protector off of amazon and it does not distort its looks, fits well and protects the corners.

Nice mid-range phone at a great price
The LG K8 is a nice mid-range phone. Nothing fancy, but able to do everything you want for a busy life. The newer versions with 16 GB are much better. I had an older version with 8 GB and it couldn't hold all the apps and kept getting stuck. So far, the 2017 version with the expandable SD card storage is enough for me, but I don't do anything fancy. I only store photos and app data for the most part. No downloading or films or anything like that. If you need a reliable mid-range Android phone for a good price, I'd recommend this one. I had a 2018 that got stolen, so had to downgrade to be able to afford it, but haven't noticed a big difference. But that one is good, too!

Honest Opinion
Buy an LG phone at your own peril. Mine as gone faulty after less than 2 months and of course its to late to return to Amazon so contacted LG Electronics who inform me that they will repair but it will take 10-14 days. They have no local repair specialists and so it needs to go back to their factory and they do not lend replacement phones. I have no spare phone so will be without a phone losing the use of all my contacts and apps for 2 weeks which in this day and age i find this kind of service very very poor. Update it is now 5 days since i reported my phone faulty and i am still waiting of a call from their service department. I really do suggest you read the reviews on Trustpilot about the service or lack of offered by LG. Wish i had done

A Hidden Wonder
Purchased this as my 8gb mobile was just useless as updating, causing an deluge of problems as not enough memory just to update what the manufacturer had installed. So needed 16gb min. I have had other LG items & they've all been great. So far this has not disappointed. Up & running very quickly, Android I'm use to, so very easy, still getting my head round this, which was purchased for work purposes, (the other mobile I have is a HTC U11 = Private), but at the moment, would highly recommend, light weight, Android system working well, seriously thinking of purchasing the more up-to-date for my personal use :-)

Very quick, lightweight phone
I got this after previously having a Samsung Galaxy J3, which was a brilliant phone in my opinion. I must say, the LG K8 is excellent for me and what I need it for. I am not a person who uses my phone for snapchat, instagram, constantly taking photos, recording videos, playing games etc. I use my phone to send texts, make phone calls, check and send emails, online shopping and listening to music whilst out. I mainly use my phone whilst out and about as I have both a laptop and PC at home. So for what I need it for, it really does the job well. The button on the back of the phone is also really handy for turning it on and off. If you want a quick phone for what I am using it for at a very reasonable price, I recommend this phone.

Does everything I need
The LG K8 is easy to use, and although the features are quite basic, it does everything I need. It's a decent phone, it takes good pictures, text messaging is easy, and web browsing works well. The screen can be difficult to see in very bright sunlight, but this is a very minor point, and the price was so good I'm not complaining. I am very pleased with the LG K8.
