The 4 burners won't stay alight but the additional burner does. We have a new regulator. What might be causing this?

I’m having the same problem. I bought a new regulator and tubing as they don’t come with the grill. The side burner works fine (so managed to cook the onions) but main grill won’t stay lit. Is it worth cutting the pipe a bit as it’s quite long ? Interested to see how others overcome this as we had to have an ‘indoor bbq’ instead

Can you build this without adding the sides?

You should build the side with the gas burner for Safety’s sake or make sure it is isolated. Alternatively pick a bbq with no side burners.
