...Almost perfect
As others have said, it's easy to put together. And it seems well made and sturdy.Site it in a corner. My cat usually accesses the top via a cunningly placed window sill, but this morning used the 'triangular' tier, and the whole thing rocked forward a little. Balance was regained once he got to the top sleep spot, as it's more weighted towards the corner.I know that not everybody's adult cat weighs 12lb, but many are close to that. He squeezes and curls into the sleep spot which is less than 12" internally. He'll stay there for hours, but I wish it was a little bigger. At least 2" wider in diameter - then it would need a wider base, and then it would be perfect.

Looks nice, study and stands up to plenty of cat-abuse!
I think I expected this to feel a little cheap because it's one of Amazon's own brand products (not that any other AmazonBasics products I've bought have actually been cheap, it's just one of those middle-class British things ingrained into us!), but I've very happy to say it isn't!It's really well made, pretty easy to put together (you just screw the various legs/platforms into one another, just read the instructions so you don't build it upside down like the idiot I am), looks pretty good and, probably most importantly, stands up to cat-abuse!It's surprisingly sturdy given the relatively small footprint too (my two 9 Month old cats regularly chase one another up and down it at 600mph). I've had it a couple of months and they've scratched at it, tried to bite chunks out of it and even slept in it. It is doing well and still looks quite new - the old cat tree (another brand) was pretty thoroughly destroyed in about 3 months (rather that than my sofa I guess!).

they love these and they are getting a lot of use ...
I got one of these for free and the cats were fighting over it so we bought another one. They are mad for the round bed at the top even though it is much too small for one of the cats, he insists on sleeping in it anyway lol. One thing though, although these are supposed to be the same product and the same size, they are actually not. We only noticed this of course because we now have two of them but the second one is slightly higher than the first, there are slight differences in the dimensions of the platforms, and the string wrapped around the pillars is a different colour and quality to the first one. However, the cats don't care, they love these and they are getting a lot of use - which doesn't always happen with cat beds let's face it lol

Falls over easily.
My cats like this and one regularly sleeps at the top or looks out of the window from it. However, it is unstable. They jump down from the top which often causes it to fall in the other direction. If this happens at night then the thump of it falling wakes me up, but worse still, it is dangerous for the other cat if he is nearby as it could fall on him. If the base was larger than it would be a safer product.

High quality tree
I've had a few different cat trees and this one is good quality and sturdy. It's pretty easy to put together, if you follow the instructions and the build quality is pretty good. It doesn't rock much once the cat is in and despite my cat's best efforts, she's not managed to rip it to pieces yet.The top circular platform is quite large, so it sticks out quite a long way over the platform below. Other trees I have had included a lip on the top platform to make it easier for cats to jump up, but this one doesn't, so if your cat has not had a tree before, or is a bit nervous about jumping up, then they might find it a bit of a struggle to get up the first few times. For the price, I think this is a good buy.

Sturdy, strong and top quality.
This is quite a large affair and easily fits my three British Shorthairs on it.The construction is simple and easy taking about fifteen minutes. The Cats literally spend ages on this playing, scratching and doing what kitties do best, sleeping. The finished item actually looks really good and it sits near our front door.

Great cat tree
This cat tree is amazingWe have 2 rescue boy cats and they are not small so size is perfect for them. They started to use it while we were putting it up and have been using the tip perch as a comfortable snoozing spot every day since we got it in May. It's sturdy, looks nice and fits perfectly into a corner beside our sofa. Would recommend!

Not fit for purpose
Very poor quality. ths top board mount is just a not fixed properly given this is chipboard, and does not support the weight of a cat. To make this even close to being useable (after the top table and cat fell off) I had strengthen the loose chipboard with wood glue, hammer the nut/lug back into the hole (bow stronger) use professional grade staple-gun to brase the nut/lug in position, araldite bond around and over the nut/lug then put a further bracing plate over that. If you would rather not go through all that effort, buy another type.
