Great for the hot summer we had
We purchased this product to help keep the room chilled for our Labradors as well as ourselves. It worked a treat. It may be a bit big but it is great.

Good for small spaces/rooms, as long as you use the ice packs provided with the unit .

Didn't work for us
Needed effecient cooling for an older person. Product simply seemed to recycle warm air and not icy breeze as labelled. Product.returned and refund given without hassle.. which was appreciated but high cost for return postage.

Fantastic aid for people who have difficulty breathing in hot weather
Bought this product last year. Very good product, using it again this year. Helps tremendously with my health problems as I have difficulty breathing when weather too hot as does my husband. Its a life saver. Would recommend

cant comment on the heater side of it but the cooler using the ice packs does blow a cooler air and does cool better than just a fan.

Looks good but poor performance for the price.
Looks good but construction is flimsy. Barely cools the space down (even with the useless ice packs) and is quite expensive for what is really a low/medium powered fan. I'm surprised that Sealey have put their name to this one. One would be better off buying a normal powerful vari-speed fan at around half the price. Not recommended.

Hier nun endlich meine ehrliche Beurteilung:Das Gerät ist der Sommerhit,wenig Stromverbrauch,da ich Eiswürfel benutzte.Es ist sehr leise(angenehm in der Nacht).Die Lieferzeit war auch O.K. liebe Grüße

So wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe
Hier muss man in betracht ziehen, dass es nicht um eine Klimaanlage geht, sondern um ein Energieeffizientes System (Air Cooler). Es geht vor allem um die richtige Zirkulation der Umgebungsluft, wenn man den Kühler einsetzen möchte. Daher sind folgende Regeln zu beachten 1. Das Gerät sollte direkt beim Fenster oder Tür stehen 2. Möglichst alle anderen Fenster/Türen schließen um die Luftzirkulation zu gewährleisten (Warme Luft wird durch die kühlere ausgetauscht) 3. Da es keine Klimaanlage ist und die Temperatur sehr langsam sinken wird, sollte in Erwägung gezogen werden zusätzliche Kühlakkus (2 sind mitgeliefert aber reichen auf dauer nicht) anzuschaffen. 4. Am besten paar Tage lang auslüften. Da es meist aus Plastik besteht, riecht es dementsprechend danach :D Hab bei mir zuhause getestet. Von 31.3°C auf 30.3°C in nur 30 Minuten und in 2 Std auf ~29°C, bei 35% Luftfeuchtigkeit. Die mitgelieferten Kühlakkus waren einfach nach 1.5 Std aufgebraucht. Wieso ein Punkt weniger? Weil das Gerät eine UK Steckdose hat, wobei Amazon hier nichts angegeben hat. Zum glück habe einen Adapter gehabt.

Die Kühlleistung hält sich in Grenzen
Wir habe das Gerät gekauft, um in einer kleineren Wohnung < 60m² die Temperatur in diesem Sommer etwas in den Griff zu bekommen, wollten aber aufgrund des Installationsaufwands keine echte Klimaanlage installieren. Die Bedienung ist einfach und auch das Betriebsgeräusch ist erträglich, nur die Kühlleistung ist trotz des Einsatzes von Kühlakkus aus dem Froster im Wasser nur sehr mäßig. Außerdem steigt bei sehr langem Betrieb die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Raum nicht unerheblich, was auch nicht so angenehm ist. Da es aber immer noch besser ist, als mit einem Ventilator die heiße Luft zu verquirlen, gibt es insgesamt drei Sterne.
