Great marketing - big purple dinosaur holding 35 - 40 standard sized 'Purple Ones' inside.
Big brazil nut shaped plastic drum measuring 9.5" long x 6" wide x 5" tall, all wrapped up in the purple livery of the purple 'dinosaurs' that have always been the ones we've fought over as kids, and still do, as adults.The drum contains between 35 - 40 standard sized purple wrapped chocolates of the same type found in the Quality Street packs - brazil nut shaped chocolate surrounding a runny caramel middle with a nut in the centre.Used to be a proper Brazil nut, but these days it's more likely to be a hazelnut, or even a peanut.The lid lifts off the drum on this packaging and is shaped so it can be used as a base to hold the drum inverted like a bowl with the chocs displayed.I searched Amazon to find the actual 'giant' sized purple individual chocolates, but without success. My OH likes the bigguns and always drops hints about 'purple dinosaurs' in his Christmas stocking.But he'll like this, and not a toffee penny in sight, so there shouldn't be too much of a punch up.

Always a certainty for discerning relatives, not my favourite. Pretty packaging but not full of sweets. Overpriced but he is worth it - so he says.

Great for lovers of 'The Purple One'
Yes, this is more expensive than in the supermarket (when they have them!) but they are not always easy to find, even at Easter and Christmas. If I can't find them in my local supermarkets it is good to know that I can buy these online, for my favourite Purple One Fan who shuns most other chocolates. I think I counted about 36 individually wrapped chocolates, when this was opened.

Opened before being posted
This was not as shown in the description. What they actually sent was a broken and battered cardboard cracker and not the item as shown in the images. It arrived in very poor condition and was Sellotaped back together so was obviously damaged before being posted. As it looked like it had already been opened we were not sure if it was safe to eat. Please note: this is not returnable. As not sure if safe to eat (having been interfered with by somebody else before being posted to us) and was not suitable for the gift it was intended we felt we had to throw it away. Very disappointed and waste of money. AVOID.

Looks Nice But Not as Pictured.
I received a cracker instead of the big purple casing shown in the photo.Looks nice but a little pricey for what your receiving.4 Months use by date.
