Nyko | Dockable, Thin Hard Portable Travel Carry Shell Protective Case with Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Nintendo Switch (Red & Blue)

Initial Impressions: Despite all of the negative reviews this has, I was surprised that it actually worked. It actually charged while docked and the green light stayed on so that was good. I attached a picture below of it docked and the light can be seen below. I like how it looks and feels on the case. The color gradient is pretty cool and it adds a touch of color to the plain black. I wanted a case I felt comfortable using in handheld and not have to worry about removing it every time I wanted to dock it and ultimately scratching it from either the dock or removing the case. Will not protect from falls nor does it even claim to (I don't really plan on taking it out everywhere) but it will protect the Switch from scratches while docking which I find to be the real culprit of most minor marks. Application: I encountered no problems with putting the case on the Switch console. I made sure I aligned all the fasteners properly and secured tightly. I don't understand why everyone else had difficulty with it but I was able to put it on the first time correctly. Just make sure everything is aligned and you're applying this on a flat surface while you're pressing down every corner. As other reviews have mentioned, make sure you hear that loud final click to know it is secured. Pros: - Charges in docking mode (have charged it 3 or 4 times with no problems) - Thin enough to fit in my travel case (pictured below w/ joy con covers) - Comes with a tempered glass protector (already had one applied but good deal for 10-12 bucks) Cons: - No shock protection - Joy con covers suck The one thing I hated the most about this case were the joy con covers themselves. They were difficult to put on and nearly impossible to remove. It makes it difficult to use the release buttons which I did not like at all since I like transitioning from handheld to using the joy con grip while playing Zelda or something. Only good thing is that they fit in my travel case and look really good all together. I don't plan on using these too often. Overall the Nyko Thin Case is a solid product. If you want a case that protects your Switch while it is docked, this is the case for you. UPDATE: I only recommend this case for those who want to protect their case while docked and not worry about scratching it. If you want a more sturdy and shockproof case obviously this case isn't going to cut it. UPDATE 2: I've had this for 4 months now and it still works great. I've had no issues using it while docked in the TV and it doesn't hinder the signal or charging at all. Still works great.

Beautiful case. The color does not look too bad with the grey joy cons. Was very easy to put on but is hard to take off. Case also protects the Switch well enough except for two slits on the back that makes it necessary to dock the case. There is an issue with docking due to the case's thickness on the bottom. Instead of dropping the console into the dock, you will have to push it down slightly so the connectors make contact. However, I think it is a good trade-off for protection and ability to dock. I am able to dock, charge and play on the TV with the Nyko Thin Case on. Great product!

So here it is raw. 2 different materials are used for this "case". The joycons are more 'rubbery' and thick and the one for the screen is hard plastic and incredibly thin/flimsy. Definitely NOT built for hard/kid use. Is fine for adult use. ***No review for screen protector yet... It went on perfectly and looks great so far. Cleans well.*** - Pros - 1. I LOVE the grip on the joycons. Way better than holding them with no grip. I was 100% surprised. 2. Light Weight - no noticeable weight difference. 3. No "con" with the joystick skins. 3. Fits in dock. 4. Can see the 'skin' on your controllers/screen if you have one. - Cons - 1. Glare. They reflect light/glare, so if you are trying to play stealthy/sneakily these are eye-catching depending on the angle. 2. The assemble for the hard/flimsy case for the screen was a bit finicky. They 'click' together but I think if you drop it they would pop off. 3. Screen one shows scratches - put it in my purse and my keys must have rubbed against it after ONE day of use. Conclusion: I would NOT purchase again for the screen case. However, A+ for the joystick protection. Not kid proof.

To be completly honest, It actually works! OwO Giving this product 5 Stars because It does what it does! First, I understand that many buyers had trouble placing and locking the case down. I was very gentle with the case and I found out that the click was a LOUD CLICK when I pushed the locks in from the side AND on top. (Pinching and then poking top) The case fits really neatly in the Nintendo Switch Dock, no problems there. It charges and displays in TV mode just fine! uwu The covers for the Joy Cons are really well made, it looks and feels like a tight glassy cover, unlike the soft silicone covers with the bump that I do not like (Multiplayer feels weird on them) Came with a GLASS screen protector (I already had one on but 1 more didnt hurt omo) Overall, a really nice case that does what it is advertised to do. Plus, I only paid 9.99 at the time! (12.99 now) There are a few slight technicalities though. The entire case is a bit of a fingerprint magnet The JoyCon covers both have a little tiny defect, maybe bad 3D printing? (but I guess that's okay omo) Doesn't fit the JoyCon Grip but Mine was modded so it could uwu

It helps to cover most of the back part if AC console back print. The joycon grip on both sides is pretty good offering nice texture to hold on. I had to try this on a few times and make sure all the clips smooth out before it works on the dock. Overall a good case to give just fair amount of protection. Definitely not for those looking for drop proof protection but is good for day to day use

No gastes tu dinero en este producto. Es un asco, no se alinea de manera correcta al Switch OLED. La carcasa es de dos piezas y se deben alinear para que sea firme. No lo es. Mejor trata de encontrar otra opción.

Die Schutzfolie war leider schon beim auspacken mit Fusseln beschmutzt.
