It stopped the leak.
Had a bad leak in my 21 year old spa. In February 2021, I was adding water every two weeks to keep the water level up enough so the pumps could run. Tried another product (pools and spas) a few weeks ago, but it didn't work. Leak got worse. I was now adding water on a weekly basis. I was worried about draining the spa when outside temperatures were below freezing, as this could do more harm than good. I decided to keep adding water weekly. I looked online and saw Leisure Time ZJ Leak Seal for spas but not pools. I thought what the heck, and tried it. I checked the next day and thought the leak might have stopped, but I wasn't sure. I didn't take note of the current water level. So I tried a second dose, taking a picture of the water level this time. I also dried the area around the spa, and placed paper towels around the spa. The next day the leak had stopped and the paper towels were dry. I applied the third and final dose just to use the bottle up. Thanks.

This stuff is amazing!
My 20+ year old spa developed a small leak. Quickly it became a moderate leak (1/2" per day) The repairman man I called spent 1 1/2 hours trying to find the leak with no luck. He narrowed it down to being somewhere in the foot well which would require draining the spa and turning it up on its side to see underneath. He felt it would be cost prohibitive for a spa the age of ours. I agreed. He suggested I might want to buy a new spa or live with the leak. I mentioned this product to him and he said he's had a couple of customer who have tried it with success and it was probably worth a try. I immediately ordered it. Its simple to use. You pretty much just poor it into the spa and turn on only the circulation for 5 hours and wait. I checked it the next day and was surprised to see that the puddle was about 1/4 the size that it was! Encouraged I decided to do another application. The following morning, to my surprise, the area was completely dry! I''m amazed and thrilled with the success of the product. Now I need to drain and refill the spa and resume normal operation and see how long it holds. Time will tell.

This does work!... but:
I use this to plug a hole in the bottom of my hot tub because I don't have any will to jack it up and fix it right. It does the job! But only temporarily, maybe 4 months?. BUT.. be prepared to either buy a new filter after dumping this in, or do like I did, and take the time to go though every single cleat on the filter with a paper towel to get the slimy stuff out. And yes, I followed the instructions and poured it in without the filter on and left it run for a few days. After it is plugged, there is still leak seal in the tub. The filter catches it and also plugs up. This is still a ton less work than fixing a leak at the bottom of your tub though.

Did not even slow down my leak!
I have about 3 or 4 small leaks in my hot tub, water level drop about 1" per day. i used the whole bottle on a 100 gal hot tube...no change in water leak. This product does not work...can not return for refund.

Follow instructions and drain your tub!
After some repairs to my tub, I noticed the water level dropping a few inches each week. Enough to cause my pump to struggle and throw a flow code from the sensor. My tub is 20 years old and the pumps are in rough shape, so I figured it was worth a try. I didn’t have any visible leaks (except dripping pumps).I let the tub come down to exterior temp before putting the product in. Started with a full tub, also. I unplugged my ozonator and removed my filter before starting. Put the product in on the skimmer side and ran all the jets on high for about 4 hours. Then I let it run normally on 2 cycles throughout the day for the next day. The water level didn’t drop at all!The listing says you don’t have to drain your tub. You do. Before draining mine, I ran jet cleaner through for an hour since it had been a while. (Hence the foamy picture) Some people say not to do them at the same time, but it was fine with my spa. I probably didn’t have that large of a leak for it to cause a problem.TL;DR: my tub stopped leaking! Could have been 1. This product or 2. My cover finally accumulated as much water as it could holdEither way, I’m happy. And my pumps sound oddly quieter...

It did not seal our small leak. But I ...
It did not seal our small leak. But I am sure it just depends where the leak is or other factors that I am not aware about. At the end of the day, it just did not work for our hot tub leak.

Really works; easily fixes minor leaks without taking spa apart.
It works. Just put it in the tub with the circulation pump (but not air jets) on; wait a few hours; drain & refill tub. I've used it 3 times over 4 years and it really works. Beats taking spa plumbing apart! For minor leaks only.

Amazing!
I can't say enough good things about this sealant. We had our hot tub drained for six months and when we refilled, it started leaking onto the sunroom floor. I hated the idea of having a repairman come in and fix it. I knew it would be expensive. Then I saw this sealant on Amazon and thought I would give it a try. It was very easy to use and within an hour the hot tub quit leaking! Once again, we drained the hot tub for six months while we were away and when we refilled it, still no leaks. I filled it over a week ago and the floor is still dry. I only used one third of the bottle, so I have back-up, but I may never need it!
