Do these fit Brita hotcup water dispenser?

Unfortunately No they wont. They are taller and will leave water in the top chamber.

Is it compatible with Amazon basics?

After some research, I have found that the Amazon basics water filter jug only uses Amazon Basics or Brita Maxtra water filter cartridges. I hope that helps.

Will this filter the SALT in water if the water source contains salt

I don't think so as we don't have salt in the tap water in the uk. Salt would be dissolved in water therefore I don't believe these filters would be able to filter out dissolved salt molecules??

will this filter fit a wilko aqua advanced water filter jug?

According to the manufacturer, the filters fit 90% of all oval jugs and some kettles. It was noted in the description they do fit Wilkinson oval water filter jugs so I would say they should fit(comes with an adapter if the size is slightly different)
