Wusthof 2783 Blade Guard, 6-Inch, Red

This guard is going to save hands & fingers at my office from our new knives! I have them at home also where they guard fingers and maintain sharp blades in the drawer. I recommend these guards!!

Both me and my partner did everything we could to open this, but to no avail. As difficult and awkward as this was, I fear that if we ever did manage to open it there would be the danger of getting cut by the knife it is supposed to shield. It might snap in such a way as to expose the blade. So this item is completely useless. Nice red color, though.

Was way too small for the knife it was intended for but ended up.fitting one of my odd shaped knives that nothing else could fit.

Difficult to open and use. Be sure and check your knives dimensions. In my case, did not hold a 5 1/2 Kyocera utility knife. Am disappointed, but my fault for relying on their product description rather than measuring blade first.

Overpriced for what they are, really.

Not even a full month of use and it broke, the foldable piece in the save guard broke. Now I have two separated pieces. Bad 👎 quality of material for a wusthof brand

I don't know why Wusthof wouldn't care that this leaves so much residue in the knife. Took several rough cleans with dish soap to get rid of.
