First off; I tried to load multiple pictures but can't. It would show this winch used not offroad but as a winch for a boom on a boat. No atv, off-road muck,mud or dirt. Just some rain at times. It would also show that the control module, was fairly protected from the rain however I bought this unit knowing full well that it could withstand the elements. Getting to the point of the "one picture" I could upload is if you take a close look, all the wires coming into the module have a great rubber seal around them so without taking something Brand new apart, one would think there would be a seal around the perimeter of the box housing. The picture shown is exactly as I discovered it. No seal and therefore the module filled with rain water over time. Buyer beware, the winch actually works and is suitable for my needs raising a skiff onto my boat. If you buy this take the time to open the box and silicone seal it thoroughly. Then it will truly be prepared for the elements. For now, I'm having trouble finding out where to put in use my 5yr warranty as described. Seems I can't find an actual megaflint website. Another cause for concern.

It’s not 3500 pounds it wears out picking up a 20 pound snowplow
Are used it for about a month on my ATV just a little my snowplow didn’t last long

Great winch. Got my atv stuck the day after I installed it and it did its job perfectly. I had to buy a mounting plate compatible with my atv though.

Is not water proof at all!!! where do you need a winch the most, in the mud duh piece of crap!!! used it one time and then it seized up.

Je suis vraiment déçu utiliser seulement 3 fois pour entrer mon side x side dans ma remorque et il est déjà défectueux et cela fait plus d’un mois je ne peux plus le retourner c’est vraiment pas de bonne qualité a déconseiller ne l’acheter pas
