I find the chain way too thin. However, It’s definitly a good birthday gift for your daughters.

I bought this for my 14-year-old granddaughter. Emerald is her birthstone. She is allergic to cheap jewelry, so this piece works well for her. She loves it, and wears it everyday. The emerald is small, but a beautiful color and cut. I recommend highly.
