Fits my Trager Ranger perfectly. It is not easy to install (not the RTD's fault), but works well.

It is often difficult to find replacement parts for the portable Traeger pellet grills, aside from the very expensive OEM parts from Traeger. Thus, I was pleased to find this 2-inch RTD (temperature sensor). Almost all other Traeger and competing grills use a 7-inch sensor, so the 2-inch sensors are hard to find. This is an easy install, took me about 10 minutes, and consists of unscrewing the old sensor, running the wiring, screwing in the new sensor, and then connecting the wiring to the control board. It is actually easier to do than to describe the process. Temperature accuracy appears to be fine, and I am pleased with this sensor.

We have an older version of the Traeger Scout or Ranger or whatever its called. It has the extended pellet box, but sits on a table. The temp probe went bad causing it to 'sense' it as too hot and shut off in the middle of smoking...on low....nevermind trying to actually cook. This took a bit of following the cord to find where it attached, but we were able to sandwich the cord between insulation to keep it from burning up like the last one. Now it's working like new and we don't have to babysit it while it smokes away.
