Effectively eliminate the chances of getting cut on the tag end of a hose clamp.
With all the double clamped hoses in a twin engine inboard board including water heaters, AC Units, Pumps, etc. the number of hose clamps just waiting to slice your hand or forearm is amazing. These things are real skin savers.
