This is exactly what is wants to be, an inexpensive USB webcam, nothing more.I picked it up for about $6, and use it for meetings every day on my M1 mac, and sometimes x86 Ubuntu workstation. It does 1920x1080 at 25 Hz, and has a few smaller resolutions too.Its stand will let it sit on top of your monitor. It rotates 360° on the stand and has a little tilt up and down as well.The dynamic range isn't so good - don't be surprised if you're either be too dark or washed out.The microphone works, but you you'll sound better over your laptop's built in mic or your headset.The image quality is good and sharp, but the little sensor in this cam tends to smear out some of the finer details.All of which is totally acceptable for a webcam at this price. If you see this under $10 and want a bargain webcam that gets the job done, this is a great deal.

I’ve connected this camera to two different computers and there is no picture. I do IT support for a living. I have done plenty of troubleshooting. The computer sees that there is a camera attached but there is no picture. Unfortunately, I let the return window expire before I checked it out so it appears I’m stuck with it.
