So far so good.
I ordered this newer sensor, instead of the 2003 version, for my ‘03 6.0. It came in a sealed Ford Motorcraft bag, with original product sticker label. I also ordered an OE pigtail from Forpartsgiant. If you’re doing one, do the other. They didn’t have the older style sensor, and I couldn’t find anywhere that I trusted to order it. They all said OEM….but all had different color o rings and shape etc. so I went with this one, which is recommended by Diesel Tech Ron (check his YT out for all 6.0 fixes!) for the early trucks as well. Time will tell, and I’ll update this review when it goes out. Today is 16DEC2023. Apparently these are built more robust than the 3C3Z part number as well, so fingers crossed. My code has not returned, so that’s good.

Fits a 2006 powerstroke
Don’t waste your money on cheap junk like I did at first. Product screwed and plugged right in fixed my power and idle issues.

Legit product.
Replaced potential bad ICP sensor with this product. Came in Ford packaging. Seems to be performing well. I have crosschecked it with mechanical gauges. Would buy again.

If you have issues with your 6.0 this sensor is the one to get!!
I had replaced my ICP sensor years ago on my 2005 F250 with a knock off one that seemed to be of good quality. What followed was hard to diagnose. I seemed to be getting hard starts with extended cranking times. My idle would miss a bit every so often. My transmission shifts were kinda abrupt. My mileage was not as good as it once was. All things that I blamed on the truck getting older. I finally decided to get this Genuine Motorcraft sensor as I had read about knock off ones causing issues. A quick 2 minute change out and the results are dramatic!! My truck now fires up right away with an angry growl and is ready to devour the world!! I can floor it and it smoothly glides through the gears like butter. My mileage has started to go up significantly. My idle is smooth with no little bumps of it missing. I would not have believed that this one little sensor could do all that but it did. I will repeat what everyone has said before "Only use genuine Motorcraft sensors on these trucks!!!" You may pay a bit more but it is totally worth it. I probably paid more in fuel with that dang knockoff than the difference in price. Amazon is already saving you money over getting it from your local dealer so take the savings and enjoy your smooth running truck!!

2006 Ford 6.0
OEM or nothing for my 6.0.

OEM
Ford OEM part. Can't get much better than that. No issues with install. Definitely get a new connector if yours was wicking oil through the oil one.

OEM only for the 6.0
Like others stated the difference between genuine Motorcraft sensors vs the cheap knock offs is unbelievable! I wasted months of troubleshooting the same rough idle issue and bad gas mileage and it was all because I didn’t pay the extra for a genuine ford part. This part has corrected my idle issue, and the truck absolutely roars now. Save yourself some time, money, and frustration and pick this one!
