Mine simply doesn’t work. And yes I know how to wind a watch. I have had several automatic/mechanical watches before.it works for 5 minutes after winding then stops. I’ve been waiting almost a week now for a resolution from ASHFORD WATCHES. Buy from someone else!!!

Didn’t work for me
I only had the watch for a few days. Cosmetically it was fine and it appeared to be accurate. The stem was very stiff and difficult to fully extend to hack and set the time. The bezel was rather stiff and hard to rotate - it would most likely break in with use. The strap that came with the watch was extremely stiff and uncomfortable. I have decided to return the watch for credit.

Great choice, Glycine!
I am no expert in the watch field, but have collected and sold maybe a couple hundred watches in the last 50 years, from the cheapest to the expensive, $35K-plus.In this price range, Glycine Combats are possibly the best value for your dollar available. Currently have about a dozen, and just added this model and also the vintage Combat 7. Well built, beyond reliable, history back to 1915, and decent on the eyes.Since Invicta purchased the company in 2015, there are some very slight differences in the pieces, which are still made in the same facility in Switzerland. Quality still excellent, and I continue to acquire.Choose one, you won't regret the purchase.

original crown logo from the most recent production run.
i was pleasantly surprised to find that the product image for this watch has not been updated... subsequently i received a watch from the most recent production run... with the original glycine crown logo in place of the winged logo that was used on several previous production runs of this watch (2015-2020). i have read "on-line" that the winged logo was only instituted to commemorate the 100th (1915-2015) anniversary of the company and was always meant to be temporary... but i have not been able to find confirmation of this information... i understand that the winged logo was quite controversial when it premiered back in 2015-2016.... now in hindsight it appears that timepieces with that logo are in fact "limited" or "special" editions...anyway... the watch i received has the 60 click bezel... and not the 120 click bezel that some users report receiving with other watches from the crown logo production run. i believe the larger diameter versions of the combat sub have the 120 click bezel while the 42mm version retains the 60 click bezel.overall i couldn't be more pleasedi had not planned on getting this watch and indeed ordered... and immediately returned several lessor watches before realizing that in the world of automatic watches... the old adage is true: "you get what you pay for." considering that at the time of this writing... the GL0094 is deeply discounted... dollar for dollar you would be hard pressed to find a better timepiece...the canvas and leather strap that the watch comes with is essentially a placeholder. i immediately removed it and put on a high quality silicon strap... as it should be with a dive watch...
