I posted the wrong review for the wrong item.Here's the actual review: Despite the overheating, I'm glad I bought this charger. It saved my Dell Inspiron e1705 from being permanently shelved.That being said, the overheating does prove it to be a bit of a fire hazard. I'd recommend you not buy it if you scared of it catching your house on fire or you have a bunch of flammable stuff lying around.

The perfect answer to "Does a notebook computer have a second life?"
My answer to that would be YES! When the first power supply up and died on me unexpectedly, I had to use another computer to try and find a replacement and man, am I glad! I'm using that replacement even as I'm typing down this here comment.
