Exactly what I was hoping for
I bought the 6-12 month size for my 10 month old, fits perfect over his pajamas. I bought this to fit inside the Columbia Snuggly Bunny Bunting (in size 12-18 month) and I couldn't be more excited with the fit. I can now have him snuggly and warm for car rides in this fleece bunting, then just pop him into the snow suit for colder adventures. Perfect for our cold northern Utah winter. As for quality...still 5 stars. We have all sorts of big outdoor name brands within our household and the quality and price of Columbia gear is always just as good, if not better as the super expensive stuff. Especially for baby/kids gear. The fold over feet and hands are a huge bonus, and a big reason I went with these suits...I hate trying to get mittens and boots on kids.I love it, and recommend it.

Cute!!
Very cute & thin enough to safely wear in the car seat while still providing some cold weather protection. But if baby was going to be playing in the snow or taking a walk in the stroller, I'd go for a thick puffy snowsuit. This is the only snowsuit we've found that can be worn in a car seat & we're very pleased with it.

Too big?
I want to say this runs big, but maybe, finally, something actually runs to size. My 5mo old is currently in (and outgrowing) 12mo clothes (he is about 17lbs, big boy).. we are buying him 18mo now, so I though I would order the 18-24mos size.. WOW, I finally got something that was too big for him! I ordered it again in 12-18mos and we will see how that fits. Also- the green color is not as bright as it looks online.

Many compliments on this suit. Great for taking to daycare in the morning and nice weight for the car seat. I thought about getting the smaller size for the 18 month grandson who is a little bit on the small side. I was concerned it would be tight over clothing by the end of winter and went with the 18/24 month size. Easy on and off with room to grow and will definitely get him through spring.

Great Bunting for big babies.
So I LOVE this. It is adorable, first and foremost. Thin enough to wear in the car seat I think. secures completely around his head to keep the wind out as much as possible. As for sizing. It does run a bit big, BUT I was hoping that it did. My 6 month old is wearing 12m clothes and 18m pajamas at 23 lbs and 28.5 inches. So, I was looking for something to fit this beast. the 12-18m size option fits him perfectly and will not fit him beyond the winter months.Hope this helps!

Love it!
My little dude is SO freakin cute in this bunting. It's thin and definitely warm enough for car rides in my MN frigid -20 temps (with the car preheated, of course) and folds over his little hands and feet. I purchased a size up to last through spring.

Fits fine with cuffed arms and legs
Purchased this because of the brand. Columbia is typically quality stuff. Very cute on my little one. Fits fine with cuffed arms and legs, a little roomy and that’s what I wanted. Hope it will last another year. We took an outing one night, it was 34*, baby wore this over long sleeved shirt and pants, with a hat instead of using the hood. Bundled with a blankie in the stroller, baby was warm and cozy.

This is the perfect bunting to keep baby warm in the winter but is still thin enough to wear safely while buckled in a car seat. Highly recommend! I bought a larger size (12-18 months) when my son was about 6 months old, and while it was initialy pretty big on him, he was able to grow into it. I like it enough though I will probably buy a smaller size for a future baby as well.
