One wheel is broken. I dont want to send it back because its going to cost me shipping especially for this really large item. I'm disappointed.

I ordered this to use with my ddjsz2. It’s the same as the ddjsz but with a couple more bells and whistles. When I got the item. It had dents in the corner aluminum moldings. It looks like it was caused by the banding used in bulk shipping. The packaging they do for these cases are not great if you have to have these shipped to you. The boxes always suffer some damage. They only wrap the case in something thin like bubble wrap or styrofoam wrap. The fit for the controller is sloppy. Make sure you use the included pads that come with the case. One big one I use in the middle to make sure it has extra protection with the 2 smaller ones hold the sides. You need to strategically place the small ones so they arnt putting undue pressure on the buttons. Which if you have them laying into a button. The springiness of the buttons could be fatigued to where the buttons won’t return back out. The computer shelf slide is kinda floppy and only has one side that lets you lock it out in full extended position. I’ve had a couple time that I pushed the shelf out only to have the one side fall out. You spend a couple grand on a controller. Don’t cheap out on this case. I bought a odyssey case case for a dj808 before this one and was impressed how good of a fit that was for the controller. I’m surprised that this doesn’t have the same qualities

Good case, solid, well-built. This is the better of several options you have for the SZ. I've seen some other garbage coffins that are bent while in use.Here, tho, the wheel's rims have worn out after 13 months of use. I use it for 2-4 gigs a week on average. The wheels are so worn out that they have to replaced (riveter needed). The wheels are available from Odyssey for $20 or so plus S/H.The tray will need lube periodically. You can use automotive grease, WD40, and anything inbetween, but you'll def have to deal with residue that will invariably get on your clothes. After several years, ,my best solution is to use Elmers slide spray which is zero residue. Is it smooth? It's OKAY but have to reapply every 2 weeks or so. I keep the can in my DJ bag. But my clothes are unfettered.EDIT: I'm now < 4 years in and am replacing the wheels for a second time. Again, it's not that the "tires" (they're plastic) thin out, its the rims that do.
