The resetter is designed to reset your Epson chip back to the full status so that the printer is fooled into believing it is working with a full cartridge again.
Our resetters are designed to only reset what is commonly referred to as a "Single Use Chip". It will not work for a "Auto Reset Chip".
Most OEM Epson cartridges still contain about 25% ink which is not recoverable unless you use a chip resetter.
This is a 7 pin resetter but will also work on some 9 pin chips. Please see the complete list below of the printer models this resetter is designed for.
