Precision Pet ProConcepts Vehicle Pet Barrier, Universal Fit, Black

Received this item yesterday, took about 30 minutes to install. It fits great and was very easy to put together. Took my Buddy (110 lbs.) out for a long test drive, he's very much a lap dog too, and it stood up to his attempts to get to me. That's exactly what I need and it does the job very well. Also, I appreciate that it doesn't have so much of a "jail" look to it like some others. Noticed no rattles of any kind and it will be very simple to take out/put back in whenever I want to. Thanks for this product!

I have been using this product, or trying to, since November 2012. It is difficult to fix into place and has fallen over repeatedly-once or twice on my dog. My chocolate lab has also gotten her head stuck between the poles even though they are as close to the window as possible-she fits between the bottom pole and the top of the back seat. Very unsatisfied with this unreliable and dangerous 'barrier'.

Due to a welding defect, one tubular leg designed to fit inside another would not do so -- a bubble had formed inside the outer tube, obstructing insertion of the inner tube. It was a very simple defect that indicated a lack of quality control on the manufacturer's part.Also, unless you've ever had a vehicle pet barrier before, it's not obvious that ones like this do not work if you have bucket seats in front, unless you order a separate extension at additional cost. That should be indicated in the product description.

I had one of these pet barriers about 5 years ago when my pups were learning to ride in a car and needed to learn to stay in the back. It was very sturdy and durable. I bought this one (same brand) and the quality is much different then my first one. The tubing is flimsy and when putting it together for the first time one of the pieces broke. I don't know if this one will last as long as my other one but its the only one I can find that actually works for my vehicle. Very disappointed that the manufacturer decided to make it flimsy.

This does it's job. Keeps the dog in the back of the SUV and is a PERFECT fit for our Mazda CX-9. My only complaint is that it is time consuming to put in/out. I guess it's not really am issue since we rarely use the 3rd row of seats anyway!

This was one of the best purchases I made this year--this pet barrier does not rattle when you are driving like the barriers that have the small square wire design. It is easy to install and remove. And the extension legs are perfect if you have a vehicle that has a little taller ceiling in the back.

Sent it back as it did not fit my car... Inifiniti QX60my dog is 120 pounds, not good for us.

This broke within 24 hours of using it. Worst product!

This barrier works great in my Hyundai Tucson. It is solid stays in place and has not needed any adjustment. It was easy to install and secure. I would recommend it to anyone traveling with pets. I really don't understand what the problem could have been for the reviewer for whom this product fell down. If you need a vehicle barrier for your pet I would recommend this one, and the price can't be beat.

It doesn't stay in place easily - although we installed it tightly, it came crashing down - if I hadn't been in the back to watch our dog to see how he was making it out, it would have crashed on our dog! We are going to try it in the other SUV but the purpose of this was for this one.I wouldn't use it again unless I was either there to make sure nothing happened or we anchored it with ties/something.

This has been made to be flexible enough to work in many vehicles. We have had to re install a few times because the tightening mechanism seems to undo. All in all it keeps our guys in the back safely.
