I had someone use a sticky pad and a string to pull things out of my drop box. Does this have anything that would help prevent that?

Does the chute have a hinged door?

Can you use another mail slot face or do you have to use what is provided?

Is this box water proof ? I am looking for a box as a pass thru mailbox to by exterior gate.
