Bell Lumina Premium Bicycle Light Set

Very bright!!!!!

I bought these lights because needed something for night riding with our bike group……..they light up great and can see the street and surroundings fine.

Love having this headlight on my bike. And when the red light is not in use... I put it on the dog's leash.

I ordered the first one, only one of the two lights was usb charged. The other light came with batteries and it leaked all over the light. I gave it a second chance to replace the order. Exactly the same thing happened and the plastic seemed becoming weak because of the acid leaked. I returned and stated the reason. So far they have received it back for about a week and still refuses to refund.

Very bright on strobe mode and decent light stream on high setting. Bought two to annoy oncoming cyclists.Battery is good but not great.Recommended!

The headlight is sturdy, the strap is surprisingly durable and the light is very bright. Running time at full brightness is roughly an hour or so and will vary a little. The flashing mode will extend that to several hours and makes the light very visible to motorists. Full charge takes a few hours. The rubber charging cover, however is not durable and after a while will fall off. Eventually repeatedly replacing the cap will cause too much wear and it will stop going back on leaving the charging port exposed to the elements. That said, I've used one of these headlamps with an exposed port in all weather for about two years with no problem.The tail light is a different story. While I have owned four of these sets, the first two being durable, the third tail light fell apart while riding on a bike path after the first 15 minutes. The case just came apart and the batteries fell out. I was able to salvage it and I now use zip ties to hold the tail light together. One positive thing I can say about the tail light is the batteries that came with it are still going strong after two years and that's 20 minutes a night five nights a week for two years on the flashing mode, a lot longer than I expected.Had the tail light not fallen apart I would have given this item five stars but I consider it kind of important that things not fall apart nor require modification to actually use as intended.

I wish the mount was better. It is like most other lights with a rubber silicone strap that stretches over the bars. I can't see that lasting forever if you constantly remove the light for recharging. I guess I will have to use an extension cord and bring the charger outside to the bike so that I can charge the light without removing it. I purchased this combo from amazon warehouse and the tail light assembly was missing the red lens and the guts inside. I can't believe some employee at amazon could not see this obvious omission. The lights are not inside a box, they are mounted on the outside of a box. This is the problem when purchasing from amazon warehouse. You are gambling that all the parts are included. Sure, they will give you a refund, but you have to drive over to Kohl's and use gasoline. I would use 6 dollars of gas to get an 8 dollar refund. I explained this to Amazon, but they said those are the rules.

The design is awesome on these... when they work. Bell has a potentially really good product here, but they need to step up there quality

The “plug in and charge” thing doesn't work for everyone. Sometimes there isn't a chance to charge or you want the ability to swap rechargeable batteries on the fly. Well this is one of the last ones out there!! Couple observations on these units: the headlight is bright enough, only drawback is that it is rather large, bigger than i thought it would be by the pictures, kind of shows why things are moving in the “built in battery” technology direction as its much more compact… not the end of the world just make sure you observe the dimensions before buying. The tail light is single LED but don't underestimate it, it is very bright!! Very well designed, i like that it has a little angle built in as most seat posts are angled back a bit, worked perfect on my bike and points straight back towards vehicles. Rubber strap is thick/strong and convincing - Both pieces have solid mounting hardware and look like they will last. Ill be honest i kept the tail light and gave the headlight to my wife lol because i wanted one more sleek and compact, but it was at home on her cruiser
