Great product
If you have never used a hose like this, I highly recommend. It does the job excellently. Make sure you depressurize the hose after each use of course and hang it up. (It says so in the instructions.) Strong inner tube, but the cosmetic fibers on the outside frayed a little in one area. Still a 5 star product. My last one last 3 years until someone damaged it.

Compact
Really like this it's lightweight, easy to move from one area to another. Stores easy too.

Easy to use. Not as durable as expected.
I have used flexible hoses for years. Great space savers. Unfortunately the hoses typically will spring a leak in the hose material.

The OG and still the BEST!
I have spent so much money over the years on knock off hoses only to see them burst after a short time in use. In addition, the hardware breaks or some other ridiculous thing happens to them. Let me be clear: get this hose! After 1 year in use, and forgetting to turn off the hose countless times and still no bursting, it is going strong. Well worth the $$.

Truly Inferior Product
This is the third one of this type of short-lived hose I've owned (each one a different brand). This one is the worst by far. Within minutes of opening the package and using the hose, I began to notice how badly it forms kinks on its own and they are not easy to get un-kinked. Then I noticed that dragging across my driveway was difficult because its outer fabric caught on the concrete. I had to fight with it to get it to move. As the attached photo shows the fabric grabs onto everything and frays, sticking almost like Velcro to the driveway, sidewalk, mulch, pretty much everything making it difficult to manage the hose. The photo is of a one-day old hose that was used for about ten minutes. Other brand hoses of this design that I've owned did not have that problem, but they each sprung a leak after a year or so of occasional use and when I went back to Amazon to buy the same brand it was no longer available. That's how I ended up buying this terrible hose. I should have paid attention to the "as seen on TV" warning on the package.

So far so good
The hose is well made. Seems durable - more than other brands. I’ve been through 3 silver bullets that each sprung leaks. No leaks yet on this one. Only complaint is that the water flow is restricted due to the diameter of the hose.

Just 3-Stars but, I would buy it again. Get a longer length than the box states.
(Item: Xhose Pro Garden Hose, 50 Foot Expandable Garden Hoses, Tough & Flexible Water Hose, Lightweight, Solid Brass Fittings, Kink Free, Easy to Use & Store)I’ve wanted one of these since I first saw the commercials on TV. It seemed like a huge step ahead for hose technology. The expandable hose is pretty cool to use in real life. It lengthens when water is pumped through it. When finished, it shrinks back down as you spray the last bits of water out of the nozzle. Just like on the commercial. And, it's very convenient for storage. I don’t miss the days of having to wind a hose back up.As for length, this 50ft hose can only stretch to about 37 feet comfortably. You may be able to get 1-2 more feet if you’re pulling it tight. But when doing that, you’re definitely putting strain on the faucet valve. So, consider getting a longer hose than what’s labeled on the box.The DAC-5 expanding/contracting fibers work well but, they’re not super durable. On grass, you won’t have any issues. On very smooth-paved concrete, you’ll be fine too. But, if the concrete is even slightly rough (or paved like black asphalt), that’s enough to start snagging/fraying the fibers. Sort of like when you run a Q-Tip over something rough - it starts pulling on the cotton strands. The on/off nozzle at the front of the hose is nice. It lets you control the water pressure easily. Even better if you’re using it with a separate gun-style spray nozzle. The water pressure is good but not great. Easily powerful enough to give a car a good, thorough wash. But, not strong enough to power wash siding or windows. This fit my needs (car washing & watering plants) but, this is not a super durable hose. For that, you’d be looking at either stainless steel, or one made with heavy-duty rubber. Definitely don’t leave this in the sun for weeks. And again, avoid using it on rough surfaces. The appeal of this hose is the expanding/contracting feature.

Can’t attach a spray gun
It is difficult to add it to normal watering system. Can’t attach a spray gun. Doesn’t extend to 3X it’s length. It is light weight.
