I love this so much! It's easy to leave the net half up so face can be free while keep bugs off my neck and hair. It was a little tight at first but after a couple wears it fit better. Folds up easily. Pouch is handy. A really great product for anyone who loves to hike!

Good for keeping gnats off when doing yard work. Somestimes the netting can be a little dark when folds occur, so keep it stretched out in the front.

Arrived on time. I bought this hat so I could mow the field and not get eaten alive by mosquitoes. It works like a dream. It’s super lightweight and allows good airflow. The mesh is easy to see through. It has an adjustable tie for under chin in case of high winds. Also to note that I was mowing on a windy day and all that coming out of the mower was being blown right into my face. This hat protected me from flying debris getting in my eyes. Worth every penny!!

I love this hat because I have an irrational fear of bugs flying i to my ears. 10/10 Makes doing anything outside much easier.

When buying a hat like this, there are 2 things you should think about (that I didnt before ordering)1) Can you see through the mesh?2) Is the mesh comfortable against your face?I appreciated getting this hat for these 2 reasons. The mesh is soft against my face (not scratchy) and the mesh protects against any and all bugs. Visibility is slightly reduced when you are wearing the hat (obviously - you have mesh in front of your face) but not bad at all. My mom did say that she couldn't see through the mesh when the sun was shining directly on the mesh so keep that in mind.I didn't know this as well but the top of the hat has mesh inside and vents around the top of the hat for ventilation which was also nice!All and all, I am very happy with the hat.

It served its purpose! I bought 2 of these for a camping trip and experienced a significant decrease in the amount of gnats and mosquitos flying up my nose and in my mouth! My only complaint is that it's slightly more difficult to see with the mesh over your face, but that is to be expected.

**EDIT** revised this to five stars based on the seller’s wonderful response to my bad review. The hats really are great. We just received two of these hats, and they’re perfect - exactly what we’d hoped for. The two starts are because we can only wear one of them. They arrived in the same box, with one wrapped in plastic and folded into its own pouch, and the other wrapped in plastic just sitting int the box. That one - the one not in a pouch was absolutely drenched in the most horrible, toxic dryer-sheet stench, which we could smell outside on the front porch before we’d even picked up the box, much less opened it. My husband started sneezing violently as soon as we took the box inside, and there’s no way either of us could pull that netting down over our faces. I briefly tried on the one that wasn’t as bad. That was 40 minutes ago and my eyes are still burning and I can taste the stuff. I don’t like or use dryer sheets, but I’m not particularly allergic to them. But we can’t have these in the house - I just put them in the garage. Maybe they’ll keep the deer out of the garden. So disappointed.
