Great product: I also own the original SoundBox and this is an improvement on that design, smaller and sleeker than the original but at no compromise on sound, in fact the low frequencies are better, much more defined in this new model. The sound quality is excellent for the price, I would compare it to speakers costing much, much more! The build is quite good, very sturdy, no rattling or buzzing even at high volumes. The battery life is also very good, I've achieved the promised 12 hours or better at moderate volumes from both models.I've saved the best for last: COSTOMER service at DOSS has been excellent!My wife is blind and I purchased the original SoundBox for her for Christmas! I contacted customer service to ask if it would be possible to change the sensitivity of the touch panel and have verbal prompts and alerts so that she could better use their product and they actually responded Christmas night! Where it wasn't possible to change the sensitivity of the touch panel they did send a firmware and instructed me on how to update the speaker with voice responses. I have been in touch with DOSS several times since and they have been nothing but curious and helpful to me and my wife.As you can see I give the DOSS SoundBox Color a 5 Star rating but also give DOSS customer service 5+ Stars and would highly recommend their products!!

The speaker itself is pretty good quality, I just got it yesterday and set it up. I got this to give my Dot some decent quality sound. Nothing great (temper your expectations, its $20), but several steps above the dot's speaker.FIRST Regarding Bluetooth: the speaker will cut off the first second or so of any audio output from the Echo Dot, if you're using bluetooth instead of an aux cable (which is included, btw). Presumably this is because of a power-save feature that turns off receiving whenever no audio is detected, even for pauses less than a second. If you're *just* listening to music it shouldn't be a big deal because the music is constantly filling the air, but for voice commands, Alexa's responses get clipped at the beginning and in the middle of sentences.SECOND regarding power: This speaker does NOT include a power supply, but it does include a USB cable. So if you have an extra wall socket-to-USB plug, you'll be fine. A little unfortunate though, because...THIRD regarding AUX interference: the aux cable (included, as well as spares I have) will pick up slight interference, but this is not noticeable when the speaker's volume is not all the way up. HOWEVERRRRRR If you have a USB wall plug with multiple USB ports (I have one from IKEA), and both the speaker and the Dot use it as a power source, you will get some MAJOR interference, most likely because the USB and aux ports on both devices are right next to each other. Again, not an issue if you're using bluetooth.So be sure, if you plan to use an aux cable to connect to a dot, that you ALSO get a USB wall power supply that is separate from the Dot's.

I am blown away. Price, build quality, and sound quality are top notch. It feels good and solid with awesome sound.I am a rock listener and this covered all my desires. The strings of Kansas, the horns of Chicago, the voice of Geoff Tate, and the rudeness of Pantera all played flawlessly. I don't know the frequency range of this speaker but it handled everything fine. I am impressed.The most impressive factor about this is... THE PRICE. Twenty bucks for a high quality speaker that has performed beyond expectations for two weeks now. Yes, $20.It paired to my S5 mini with ease. I haven't paired it with anything else yet but anticipate the same success.I use it by the nightstand when turning in for the day and it lasted over 20 hours in three nights without recharging. I don't know what the stated battery life is but 20 hours is good enough for me.The only complaint I had was DOSS contacted me one day after receiving it and asked me to give it a review. Dear DOSS, you have a good enough product that you don't need to be pimping customers to give you good reviews. Let the free market work to your advantage. You have a winner.I will be purchasing a DOSS Soundbox XL after a couple weeks of listening to this speaker (unless DOSS wants to send me one for review... might as well do some pimping myself, right?).If this was my company selling these awesome Soundboxes, I'd be charging at least $39.99 and still feel competitive with higher priced speakers.Well done DOSS. (Please forward my apology to the customer service rep that asked for my hasty review... I was kinda rough on her). Keep up the great work and products. I am a customer for life.

I've had this over a week now. I love it!! If you are looking for a portable speaker- get this one! It's sooo easy to use and provides great sound. It's solid- not super light weight which I was not expecting. I'm glad. I would much rather have it a little heavy than paper light. The sound quality is really good, too. It gets loud! I don't like the beep that accompanies turning the volume up, but it doesn't do it while turning the volume down so I'll get over that. The indicator lights are a great touch. The manufacturer deserves a pat on the back for those! The box, packaging, and instructions were nice. Instructions were simple and easy to understand. I've used it in the bathroom and out in the garage. I brought it to work today-a small town hardware store. I've had tons of compliments on the nice sound and attractiveness of the little speaker. It probably helps that I'm playing appeasing music! I'd be happy to order another one for any of my customers if they ask!

I have purchase it from amazon.in. Its design very nice and excellent sound ,excellent bass quality in this price.I think its value for money.Thanks Amazon and doss also.
