ACA Ethical Standards Casebook

Its a great text book that provides the exact guidelines which are needed to practice as a License Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois. It was not a boot leg copy and the content matched up to the guidelines which are also available online. Overall it's a great addition to the online information providing additional vignettes to many of the grey area ethical dilemmas one will experience as an LPC. Spend a few bucks on this if you plan on hanging on to it... these books are great as a reference to keep long term.

I ordered this book for a class at my school. The book is great and I only have one complaint, the Kindle for iPad "e-textbook" has no page numbers, and I can't cite a resource without page numbers. Luckily the book is entirely codified with word for word text directly from the ACA standard. I can simply cite the code, but if I wanted to use a portion of the case example, I cannot. The best way I found to overcome the lack of page numbers is by searching the index and finding the page on which the topic of interest is listed.So overall, I'm happy with the book, but I wish I bought the paperback due to the aforementioned situation. I might suggest for kindle on iPad to add page numbers to the location slider and search tool.

Textbook is in plastic wrapping which makes it seem NEW! Post said it was used but do not see any signs of use. Very happy with this purchase!

I got it for school. Easy read, very informative, good reference item with case examples. Worth the buy even if it's not required.

Im in my Master of Counseling Program with Walden University and was happy to find this book for an affordable price and in good condition with no wear.

I purchased this book for class on ethics. The ethical codes, and explanations in the front end of the book are clear and useful. The back end of the book is comprised primarily of cases which are for the most part interesting but can seem wordy at times.

It has a lot of good case studies, that really make you wonder but I also like that it gives you solution to the problem that faces the reader.

It's an ethics book with case examples. As far as I'm aware, no one reads this for fun. But it's important if you're going into this field.
