Craftsman 3 Piece Curved Pry Bar Set With Strike Cap Handle

Unfortunately, mine arrived without the strike cap. Lose a star for that. But as usual Amazon hooked me up in 10 minutes and resolved the issue fairly. I have no complaints.Now the bars themselves. Excellent. Handles are rock solid. Actually better than I expected. Bars are just plain bad ass. I tried bending one in my vise. No chance. Straight as arrows. Good finishing all around. Like old school Crafstman. Made in the USA 🇺🇸. Highly recommend. Thanks for reading

Looked at some more "inexpensive" options on Amazon, but I have seen too many pry bars with cracked and broken handles. These are well worth the couple extra bucks. The hammer cap will prevent broken handles because you are pounding on steel and not on plastic. Also, most cheap pry bars feel like nylon handles, these feel more like fiberglass reinforced ABS. Only time will tell how they hold up, but I'm sure they will last. I like the Craftsman lifetime warranty, too.

All of mine arrived in a condition that can best be described as "used". The handles appear to have either been thoroughly gnawed on by rodents or repeatedly thrown around a warehouse. They're not half-bad pry bars, but they're also not even half-new. These would be a great value at this price if they were new, but they're not new so they're not very competitive.

Very well but and good product. The best tool I have purchased. Very handy if you are a DIY. I would have really struggled working on the suspension of my car, if I didn't;t had this tool. Look no further this is the best value for money. Sears sells them a bit cheaper though. Reduced on e star for the pricing.

Why 3 stars instead of 5? They need a couple of additional lengths...also, these are only intended for moderate prying. Don't even try to pry something real heavy...get a bigger, more solid bar for that. They're okay for light/moderate use and would probably be better served with a homeowner or DIY'er. I've been told these are made by Mayhew for Craftsman....I don't know, they sure look like a Mayhew, regardless, leave the heavy stuff for a stiffer pry bar.

Very well made and feel like they are built like a quality Craftsman tool is to be expected. Have used small pry bar to remove Headers from a 4 Cylinder and after unbolting it I just skip this in between and pull... BAM! This thing works great! Highly Recommend easy to use and the strike cap on the end is very useful as well. Feels like the shafts run through the grip and are very thick treated steel. Feel much safer using these then a HF version in my opinion.

Have been looking for a set of pry bars and these fit the bill. Price was right but the strike caps sold em. In hand they feel right , handles are molded nice and of what appears to be fiber (possibly glass) reinforced plastic or polymer. The shafts nicely made with black oxide finish. Have used them for car DIYs and work will. Strike caps take a beating with little signs of use. A great product from an American made company. Though I think they are rebranded Wilde’s. Which is fine. 5 stars.

I bought this set primarily because they were listed as being Made in USA. The very first thing I did when I unboxed them was to check. I was careful to save the box because they were going back if I saw China on the packaging. Happy to report they are indeed Made In USA and that I didn’t have to return them for a refund.
