I've taken this for three years. I stumbled upon it by the grace of God in the middle the night at like two or three in the morning when I couldn't sleep in the Lord led me to this infomercial of all things! Popped up on CNN's website! Anyway, the company is a bit gimmicky and will email you to death and that is why I am so happy it's now on Amazon. I stopped taking it for a while and experimented with probably about five different other brands that were cheaper that had similar strains, but nothing compared. Going forward, I'll buy this on Amazon for as long as it's available. By the way I have lifelong digestive issues that I was born with. It's a smooth muscle/ by the way I have lifelong digestive issues that I was born with, mostly involving extreme constipation. (I can't stand Miralax or any of that other stuff.) It's a smooth muscle/ peristalsis problem where food does not transit down effectively or quickly in my body. Probiotics have been the most helpful and are much safer than laxatives which can overtime cause a decrease in potassium and energy. Taking these, I am 90% cured most of the time if not higher and only have one or two bad days a month.

Expensive but effective

I just started taking the Pro-x10 so I cannot tell any results just yet.

THE best probiotic. Period. I was having serious gut-related issues about a year ago. I ran across this product & decided to give it a try. SO GLAD I did. All my issues resolved. I took them for around seven or eight months & stopped for a time due to some life events. My symptoms started coming back, so I ordered again. Once again, almost immediately the issues resolved. Thank you for a stupendous product.You asked for both good & bad, so I'll tell you the real drawback for me is the cost. I could wish they were less expensive. I need to take them for optimum health, but really struggle to afford them. What price health, though, y'know? So I sacrifice in other areas to be able to do this.Another down side is the overwhelming amount of communication from BioTrust if you order from them directly, though they used to offer a 10% discount of you sign up for monthly auto-ship. I could stand far less information from the company, though I have little doubt the rest of their products are excellent as well.Thanks!

I bought these expensive probiotics off of the Biotrust website to protect myself from acquiring a C. Difficile infection, a potential complication after being on clindamycin for a MRSA infection. It seemed like a good preventative move. I took them for 4 months and gave a month's supply to a friend to try out as well. While on these pills, I gained 25 pounds. I went up from 110 to 135 lbs. My friend, who only took a month supply, gained 20 pounds. When she reported back to me, we realized that our gain in weight was likely due to these probiotics. I have gained 5 lbs and become lactose intolerant from being on long bouts of antibiotics in the past, but when my microbiome would normalize over the following few months, the minor weight gain and lactose intolerance would go away on its own. However, after taking the Biotrust probiotics for 4 months, that 25 pounds of weight gain would not budge for 16 months, no matter how healthy I ate (I was not a super healthy eater beforehand). Basically, the weight did not begin to leave me until I took Augmentin for a sinus infection. The antibiotic cleared out whatever bacteria was in the Biotrust probiotic that caused me to gain weight, and I've been gradually returning to my normal weight, with only 8 pounds to go. Be cautious when taking this probiotic and report here if you get weight gain from it so we can know if this is a common problem.

It claims to work within hours and I have taken it for days, with no results. It could just be my system.I probably wont buy again.

I have always had issues with my GI since as long as I can remember. It doesn't matter what I eat or what I do and is only slightly controlled with exercise. I have been using Probiotics for years and it has always helped control the issues I have. I always thought all probiotics were the same and I have tried all different ones and they all seemed to work fine. Then I came upon this one and realized that they are all not the same. I can't believe how great these work and how big of a difference I can actually feel. Now that I have found these, I will not be using any other Probiotics. I am truly impressed with this product and highly recommend them for your overall health and especially if you have any GI issues at all.

Bio-trust Pro-x10 has been and always will be my brand of probiotics.After 5 years of NO antibiotics I was recently put on them. I do not do well on them. Side effects are kept to a minimum and my natural gut flora are kept at a healthy level. I am so thankful I have Pro-x10! Thank you :D
