TYC 700287 Replacement Blower Assembly

Ball bearings went bad in the blower assembly of my 2009 Nissan Versa. Dealer wanted 1k to tear apart the dash, Wut?Watched Youtube, decided to DIY and ordered this Aug. 17'. Looks just like OEM, and fit perfectly. Took about half an hour to install.*Update* 7/22/18Still working after a year! No problems.

Make no mistake this is most likely the exact same part you would get at an auto parts store for twice the price. The exterior plastic is a little different (the original part on my 08 versa is more of a textured rough ABS while this is a smooth plastic with a different feel) Beyond that there is no difference. The fit is the same. I'm not seeing any reviews stating this part failed in a year or two so I'm assuming this will be fine over the winter and running the heat.Quick tip. If you're down here replacing the blower, spend an extra $15 and replace the cabin air filter. It's literally right below the blower. Save yourself from having to take out the glovebox again in 6 months.

First, my apologies for now having a picture of the TYC 700287 Replacement Blower Assembly outside of the box, but I did not want to risk damaging it before I was ready to install it.After being convinced by several of my friends to order and install a replacement Nissan blower motor myself, I ended up ordering the TYC 700287 Replacement Blower Assembly for my 2009 Nissan Versa Hatchback on January 4, 2018.The HEATER & BLOWER UNIT - MOTOR ASSY-BLOWER (Part Number: 27226-EE91) that you can obtain from Nissan would have cost $217.03 before tax and shipping (if applicable), and the TYC 700287 Replacement Blower Assembly only cost me $60.27 on Amazon when you factor in tax and the free two-day Amazon Prime shipping.Amazon did a great job packaging the TYC 700287 Replacement Blower Assembly in their shipping box, and the TYC 700287 Replacement Blower Assembly's box protected it as well.Like many others, I ended up looking for videos on YouTube to remove the OEM blower motor and installing the TYC 700287 Replacement Blower Assembly. I will say that the TYC 700287 Replacement Blower Assembly performs just as well as the HEATER & BLOWER UNIT - MOTOR ASSY-BLOWER (Part Number: 27226-EE91) for a fraction of the price.If I notice anything different, I'll update the review accordingly, but for now, I'm quite pleased with the purchase and how well the TYC 700287 Replacement Blower Assembly is performing.

So far so good. Replaced in my mothers car. She was getting intermittent fan failure and so far hasn't had any more issues after install. Looks just like the original and fits perfectly. You can find YouTube videos for how to get it out and installed. Although I did have to take pictures with my phone to see how the power connector clips into place. I just couldn't see it up there otherwise. Very cramped but so much cheaper to diy. I called my normal mechanic and he quoted me over 500 to change the blower motor and one other piece. A relay or something. I can't remember exactly. I will do that if and only if we have future issues!

Works perfect in a 2010 Nissan versa hatchback. Just YouTube how to replace and after this purchase you just saved yourself a wad of cash. Almost immediate delivery. Very happy with the product.

Good value compared to bringing my car into get the AC looked at. Heard a kind of clicking when turning on the AC and looked it up. It's when the bearings on these go bad I think.Bought this and replaced it in an hour. Works great and a bit quieter than the one that came with my car.

matches factory part and works great for Nissan Versa 2008 hatchback

This fit my 2008 Nissan Versa hatchback perfectly. Was able to install it by removing the glove compartment and some wiring harnesses. Took me about 30 minutes or less. Been working fine for about 3 months at this point.

So very happy with this purchase. I ordered it from Amazon.ca, total, including tax and shipping was $90. My neighbour replaced it from under the glove compartment -- a tip we read here in the Reviews section. Thank you! It took my neighbour (and friend for life) about 45 minutes because he had a dog-bitten finger and it was his first time doing it. It works like heaven! I finally have car heat in this brutal Montreal weather. Thank you so much, sellers and Amazon and person with the tip.

Changing this part at Nissan will cost 230$ CAD for the part and 200$ for the labor. It takes about 12 min to change it yourself with this fairly similar part. unscrew the glove compartment, 1 phillips screw for a part in the way and you can simply detach the power cable and turn the old one clockwise to unmount it. Then you insert the new one and turn counter-clockwise and plug it. Works well. Not a genuine part and the sound is a bit different.

I replaced the blower motor myself for my Nissan Versa as fan did not blow any air. The shipment received 1 day earlier. So pleased with the product and now I have my fan working again. Just the part was a bit dusty that’s all. The product fitment was exactly the same as the OEM and the plastic parts looked well made.

First one arrived damaged. Returned. Replacement sent. Popped it in and it runs quietly. Very happy.

Unfortunately found this exact part number 20dollars cheaper at Rock Auto :(
