Players Classics C-960 traditional style billiard cue with crimson-stained Birds-eye Maple forearm and butt, solid black genuine double-pressed Irish linen wrap, stainless steel joint collar and triple silver ring sets. This piece has a timeless traditional look and would make a great playing cue for anyone from an amateur player practicing on a home table to a battle-tested tournament warrior. Players pool cues are made from North American Grade A Hard Rock Maple that has been hand picked by seasoned craftsmen and turned and dried seven times during curing. The wood is treated with Nelsonite, a patented stabilizer that protects it from atmospheric changes and finished with an epoxy that seals the wood pores for even greater moisture protection. Once the cue design and/or inlay is applied, each completed cue is then finished with a high gloss super UV coating that provides an armor coating against fading and chipping so in 20 years your cue will look and play as good as it does today. Players pool cue shafts are made of the same treated North American Grade A Hard Rock Maple as the cue butts and are given a professional taper for a long stroke and treated with a special French cue wax that provides a smooth finish so the shaft literally glides through your fingers. Each shaft is topped with a high-impact ferrule so durable that it even carries its own lifetime guarantee against chipping or cracking. Players pool cues and pool cue shafts come backed by a lifetime warranty, even against warpage.

Excellent stick for the price. Great for beginners.
Its certainly a ~$100 stick so don't expect it to blow your mind, but it's among the best sub-$200 sticks out there. I've used mine regularly (6 hours a week) for about 4 months now and it has served me well with zero issues. Perfect if you're just starting out on a league or are playing casually often enough that you just don't want to rely on the house cues (and you don't want to break the bank). I would (and have) recommend it any of my friends that play semi-casually.It does have its limitations: medium tip, 13 mm shaft, and its not low-deflection. The tip can easily (and cheaply) be replaced with a soft if you need a little more cue ball control. If you're playing at a level that the other two points really make a difference in your game, this isn't your price point anyway. The free case works great if you never transport your stick anywhere. If you plan on using your c960 (or any other stick) at your local pool hall, buy a better case.

Great feel & looks
I started playing pool again about 1 year ago & was using the bar sticks! I can really tell the difference in my game, I can control the cue ball with much more accuracy! Great looking cue for the price.
