Inov-8 Unisex-Adult F-Lite 240-U Cross-Trainer Shoe

I bought these shoes for CrossFit, and they are good for most of the workouts. I appreciate the extra room in the toe box that really allows your toes to spread properly, and I plan on keeping them for that reason, but they are not at all sufficient for burpees or really any movement that puts you in a plank position. They will not grip at the toes so I end up sliding everywhere. I plan on keeping these for the time being, but if you plan on using these for anything other than lifting I'd suggest doing more research to find a better cross-trainer. If you just want to lift heavy though these are great. I used to get cuts on my toes lifting with my running shoes (asics) so I'm thrilled that has stopped with these shoes, just disappointed that I'll have to start bringing two pairs of shoes when I see certain moves on the WOD.

Started taking crossfit classes - was using Under Armour running shoes and my knees began to hurt. Someone suggested I get some crossfit shoes and of course I thought it was just another hoax or a way to sell different work out equipment. After wearing these to the last three classes I can honestly say i feel better and my knees do not hurt as much. The real cushy running shoes do not do you any favors when you are lifting. These shoes work well for lifting as well as running.

I'd had some Innov8 235s, which have a 6mm drop. I prefer a little more drop than in the F-Lite 195, the go-to for a lot of Crossfitters. However, Innov8 makes it a little hard to figure out what the drop is, which models are comparable to which, etc. These reportedly have a 6mm drop, but I'm skeptical of that. I think they'll be fine but they feel closer to the F-Lite 195 than my old 235s.

I tried these shoes on a whim because I was tired of spending $150 or more on shoes for the gym. These worked great. Very comfortable, great for circuit training. My Brooks needed arch inserts and I don't wear them in these, I have a big arch in my foot. Loved them so much, bought another color pair.

I like the feel of these shoes but they run a little large. I bought the 9.5M which compares to having to buy the 10.5 in the Inov-8 240(S), and there is still too much room in the toe area. I kept them originally to err on the safe side and because I was afraid to size down given Inov-8's inconsistent sizing between models, but now I wished I had returned them for a smaller size. Otherwise, while I prefer the 235s for weightlifting, these work well enough for plyometrics and sprints. I am a little afraid of the front catching on box jumps given the sizing is off but so far so good, I guess. I may try to order another pair in the 9's to see if those would work better, but I'm over the idea of ordering and returning 6 pairs of shoes in order to find the one that works.

I love INOV8 shoes. I Crossfit in them and won't go to another brand. I have a very flat foot and they fit me right on my normal size and don't make my arch hurt or rub in the arch like a lot of other shoes do. I've tried a couple different 'types' of Inov-8 and have never been disappointed.

These were my first Inov8 240. I usually stay with Inov8 195 just because all the other shoes ends up killing my feet. Not these! Fits nicely, looks good and my feet doesn't slip around while lifting. I will definitely be getting another pair!

I love Inov-8 and the price was amazing. I was confused on the sizing for this item since when you click size charts it gives the Men's and Women's, but I ordered the 6M and it came as the women's sizing.

Wow! Love these, perfect to run, for the gym and crossfit. Would recommand 100 %.
