AVALANCHE-36-VD Swamp Cooler, 36-Inch, Gray

100 degree days in my shop and 10000 square feet to cool. So I bought two of these. We quickly leqarned do not keep the doors all shut since it will make the air humid and uncomfortable. I was told to crack our shop doors open a foot from the bottom on the rollups. So now no humidity and they cool really well. Sometimes too well it gets cold! lol. Best thing I found is Cool-Space has every part and switch available should you need replacements and excellent product support when you call them. When you first run it don't be alarmed it will be cool but give it a few days and they start working really good. High quality USA made product. I cannot think of why I waited so long suffering in the Summer heat for years. These will spoil you. Strong 24 mph breeze running through our shop. I bought some 48 inch fans to move the air around even more throughout. Great Product!

Works very well, however, it adds significant amount of moisture into the air. All tools and surrounding equipment needs to be maintained for rust.

so far GREAT! It had to go into immediate service in our Arizona Barn temps were 110 upon arrival.It was larger than I expected 6' high but with a full media surface it effortlessly and quietly delivers coolingthat by my measure has lowered the temp approx 25-30 degrees. I've had a smaller Portocool and 3 had to be replaced within 1 monththen the replacements needed new cords, even a motor which could not be mounted.Also Amazon lg freight delivery was flawless

The hard plastic casing is starting to warp and the blades are cutting into the plastic. I would really appreciate this to be warrantied.

It made it so much more tolerable in my shop on even the hottest 105 plus degree days. On days with higher humidity it certainly doesn’t work as well (as expected) but still was better than without it.
